Stewardship has always been a part of the Church, but how we bring our gifts to the Lord has really changed over the centu-ries.
If you have never used online giving to support the par-ish, we ask that you consider doing so. By using elec-tronic, online giving for your donations, your support consistently and conveniently helps stabilize our income and enable us to better plan for our current and future needs. You can go online or contact the parish office for details.

GOOD SHEPHERD SERICES ATLANTA IN CHAMBLEE
As Catholics we are especially called to reach out to our family in the refugee and immigrant community and this summer there is a wonderful opportunity to do so in a very meaningful way. Good Shep-herd Services in Chamblee led by Sister Christine Truong has for many years of-fered a Summer Program for children. The program this year will be June 12 – July 6, Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 AM – 12:15 PM. Due to the in-creased need and participation, there is an urgent need for volunteers. You may commit to volunteer every day, several days or whatever amount of days you are available to assist the children with learning and activities. Men, women or teenagers are welcome
to apply. Excellent opportunity for teen-
agers seeking community service hours.
Please contact Xuan Nguyen, 770-455-

BIBLE STUDY
HOME BIBLE STUDY: For any-one in the parish who would like to grow in their knowledge of
their Faith but sometimes are too busy to attend classes. After seventeen years of teaching adult Bible Courses, I have decid-ed to start a HOME BIBLE STUDY to deep-en your knowledge of Scripture. There is no cost. The way it will work is that I will e-mail a reading to you every two weeks, to take you through the Bible. The first five readings will deal with the influence of the Jewish Faith upon Christianity. These five e-mail readings will set the foundation for the study of The Gospel According to Luke, the most complete writing in the Bible on the life of Jesus. Every two weeks, an e-mail will explain one chapter. After Luke will be the Study of The Gospel According to John, The Acts of the Apostles, and then to the first two books of the Bible, Genesis & Exodus. By the time we finish, you will have a very clear understanding of the most important book every written, and the very foundation of our Faith. Obviously, you can stop at any time with an e-mail. I started this with my adult children, and I felt the Lord wanted me to open it to all who are interesting in learning more about Him. To sign up, just e-mail me at [email protected]. I will be starting this Home Bible Study soon!
