How to Digitally Access and Manage Your Software Benefits

Download Software and View Product Keys

Microsoft Competency Partners - Once you have been assigned access privileges by your

Microsoft Partner Program Local or Global administrator, you can begin downloading

software for the following license-use rights:

Internal business Demonstration Training

You can view product keys for development and test license-use rights from the MSDN site,

here.You can view product keys for evaluation license-use rights from the TechNet site,here.

Microsoft Action Pack Partners:Once you have been assigned access privileges by your

Microsoft Partner Program Local or Global administrator, you can begin downloading all

of your license-use rights software.

If you have Microsoft Action Pack Development and Design, you can view product keys for

development and test license-use rights from the MSDN site,here. If you have Microsoft Action

Pack Solution Provider, you can view product keys for evaluation license-use rights from the

TechNet site,here.

You can access and manage your software benefitsincluding Microsoft Action Pack

Subscriptions and Microsoft Partner Network Competency kit shipmentsonline.

We recommend that you use the Download Manager, which allows you to easily pause,resume, and stop the download process.

You can help reduce our carbon footprint by saving files to your desktop or companynetwork instead of burning to a disc. For more information, please view file formats inthe tool FAQshere.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6 or 7, the Web Browsersoftware download option willnot be available for large file downloads.

For information regarding software or product keys, please refer to Special Instructionssection in the Confirm Settings and Downloadwindow.

Partners can download software multiple times. However, the Microsoft Partner Programtool for digitally downloading software is not intended to replace internal distribution

mechanisms for partners. Microsoft encourages partners to download once and

distribute internally.

Microsoft Competency Partners, and Action Pack partners - Follow these steps to

download your software:

1. Click on the download sitefromhere.2. At the download site, select your organization from the drop down, which is

located next to Filter by Organization.

3. You can access your software and product keys two ways, 1) by selecting the ProductDownloads and Keystab, or 2) by clicking on Find downloads. View your product

keys. Activate your software and get started.

4. Click on the software that you would like to download.

5. From this screen you have the option to also view the product key for the correspondingproduct by selecting the View button when applicable.You can also access your

product keys via the Download Settings page or Confirm Download and Settings

page.

6. Select your preferences for product language, operating system, and connection speed.7. Click on Continue Download.

8. Confirm settings and click on Downloadbased on your preference for the DownloadManageror Web Browser.

8. Run or save file to your desktop or company network.

If you download your software using the Download Manager, please do the following to

install the Download Manager:

1. Click on Installif prompted to install Active X Control.

2. Save the Download Manager to complete the installation.Add or remove users and manage their access to downloads, keys, training,

and your license statement.

As a Microsoft Partner Program Local or Global administrator,youll be able to assign

privileges from the list of individuals who are associated to your location.

Important Notes:

Changes to access privileges take effect immediately. Individuals receive an e-mail notification from the Microsoft Partner Program

informing them of the status of their access privileges.

No more than three individuals for a location can be assigned download privileges. You wont be eligible for a refund after youve accessed the download site.

Please follow these steps to manage privileges:

1. Click on Assign Privilegesfrom the Requirements and Assetsmenu.

2. Assign or remove access privileges by selecting or de-selecting the privilege assignmentbox.

3. Click Submit.

Manage your preferences for digital and physical media (DVDs).

Microsoft Competency Partners, and Action Pack Partners - You can to elect to receive

physical discs at enrollment, re-enrollment, or at any time during your membership year.

Once you begin receiving physical discs, youre next opportunity to elect to receive only

software download is during your re-enrollment.

Important note:

If you order physical discs, youll continue to have access to software download.

Microsoft Competency Partner and Action Pack Partners - When enrolling or re-enrolling,

you can order physical media by following these steps:

1. Click on New Ordersfrom the Orders and Benefitsmenu.

2. Click on the checkbox for the Physical Media sku, and click on Next.

3. Confirm Item Detailsand Shipping Details, and click on Next.

4. Confirm Order Summary and click onNext.

5. Select payment method by clicking on Checkor Credit Card, and confirming paymentinformation.

6. Click on Submit Order.
