In singles action, Schultz denied Ratnashree Baired- dy 6-2 in the first set, fol- lowed by 5-7 loss and the 10-5 decider. In her doubles match, Schultz and Jackson defeated Baireddy and Evy Osterloo in back-to-back 6-3 sets. The Lynx went right to work in the first inning when Craig drove in three on a home run. That was paired with a three-run second in- ning, which was highlighted by an Schoby RBI. Gabert pitched the Lynx to victory. She lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out three and walking one. In all total, the Lynx had 11 hits on the day. Craig went 3-for-4 at the plate and Schroder turned in a 2-for-2 performance. The Lady Lynx close out their regular season sched- ule Thursday when they host Brookings for two games at Aspen Park. Three of BV’s four wins came in the singles division. Bella Schultz (fl ight 1), Mi-chaela Jerke (fl ight 2) and Marie Pelletier (fl ight 4) all had to endure extended matches on their path to vic-tory. Schultz also teamed up with Addy Jackson in fl ight 1 doubles, which scored BV’s fourth win.

In singles action, Schultz denied Ratnashree Baired-dy 6-2 in the fi rst set, fol-lowed by 5-7 loss and the 10-5 decider. In her doubles match, Schultz and Jackson defeated Baireddy and Evy Osterloo in back-to-back 6-3 sets.

Jerke’s path to her fl ight 2 victory against Osterloo came in the form a 6-3 set win, a 3-6 loss and the de-ciding 10-4 third set.

The Lynx enter the piv-otal portion of their sea-son next week when they compete for two separate conference titles. On Sat-urday, BV will vie for the Metro Conference title at the McKennan Park courts in Sioux Falls starting at 9

a.m. On Sept. 29, the Lynx will go after the ESD Con-ference title when they trav-el to Harrisburg with play getting underway at 8 a.m.

The Lynx exceeded that effort with four runs in the second inning. The Lynx offense came from a walk by Reinschmidt, a single by Ray, and a Yankton er-ror on a ball put in play by Gonseth.

Csordacsics took the loss. She surrendered seven runs on eight hits over fi ve in-nings, striking out fi ve Yank-ton batters.

The Lynx charted seven hits in the game. Schoby and Ray both had two hits, along with tearing up the base baths. Ray had two stolen bases.

loss to Yankton, the Lynx got the best of the Watertown Arrows in game two of the day, a 7-2 victory.

The Lynx went right to work in the fi rst inning when Craig drove in three on a home run. That was paired with a three-run second in-ning, which was highlighted by an Schoby RBI.

Gabert pitched the Lynx to victory. She lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out three and walking one.

In all total, the Lynx had 11 hits on the day. Craig went 3-for-4 at the plate and Schroder turned in a 2-for-2 performance.

The Lady Lynx close out their regular season sched-ule Thursday when they host Brookings for two games at Aspen Park.
