Minutes from 09/17/2014: Oaklee Rogers motioned to accept the minutes from 09/17/2014 Melissa Clark seconded the motion to accept the minutes from 09/14/2014 Motion passed ArizOTA Logo Review: Board Members reviewed 3 logos used throughout ArizOTA’s history, as well as a font currently used on the ArizOTA website Tamara Turner motioned to replace the current ArizOTA logo Oaklee Rogers seconded the motion to replace the current ArizOTA logo Motion passed unanimously ACTION ITEMS: Brenda Hubbell will lead a committee in order to determine logo replacement procedure Oaklee Rogers, Sarah Sharp and Charli Satterwaite indicated interest in serving on this committee. Sarah Sharp to email Matt Roberts in order to obtain specifications related to print and e-media for a new logo Meagan Orban to place electronic versions of previous 3 logos on Dropbox

Current Update from 10/07/14: Members of the Legislative Committee presented information to a representative from the Department of Child Safety regarding occupational therapy as well as the benefits of having occupational therapy practitioners involved in the development of services available to families within DCS An identified potential goal is to find opportunities to include occupational therapy in the decision making component of DCS Per Scot Butler’s consult, this type of initiative, while worthwhile, is outside of the scope of the Legislative Committee at this time
Members identified as being interested in this initiative include: Lara Taggart Amy Armstrong Rachel Diamant Board Members discussed procedures regarding the formation of an ad hoc committee as well as other currently operational committees within the Association Based on available information at the time of the Board Meeting, it was decided that further information was needed The interested practitioners will need to make a proposal to the ArizOTA Board regarding formation of an ad hoc committee for this initiative
