WORSHIPSun. at 10:45 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.
Faith and Fear. Faith and fear are the two guiding forces in our spiritual lives. We respond in either faith or in fear depending upon our spiritual foundation. Of course, our foundation should be something we can build upon with confidence; “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” 1st Corinthians 3:11; Hebrews 13:8.If you want to face this life without spiritual fear, base your faith upon Jesus Christ as found in the inspired words of God; “So the faith cometh by hear-ing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17. We invite you to join us at The Mill Street Church of Christ as we seek to follow God’s word in simplicity and in truth; “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17.

A benefit for Morgan Smith will take place on Sunday, November 12, at Crowder College, Cassville, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event will raise funds for Morgan Smith’s medical expenses.
Morgan is the daughter of Jerry and Tori Smith, of Cassville. She is a senior at Cassville High School. She has been battling a pain-ful, debilitating illness for a long time. She needs further testing done to reach a final diagnosis and treatment plan. Her family has already made numerous trips to Springfield, Columbia, and St. Louis with more sched-uled in the near future.
The transportation expenses are accumulat-ing along with the medical bills, time off work, and medication. Morgan was referred to Mayo Clinic and was to be seen this month. However, her insurance has denied coverage for this and the family would be respon-sible for $10,000 up front.
Our benefit event will include: musical entertain-ment, dinner, dessert auc-tion, and a silent auction. They are currently looking for sponsors who would be willing to help us raise funds for this family to be able to continue medical care for Morgan and give them the answers and relief that they desperately need and deserve. All proceeds will go directly to the fam-ily. Sponsorship can be done in a number of ways: monetary donations, auc-tion items, food contribu-tions, etc.
If you are willing to contribute, contact Mandy Clevenger at (417) 846-6021.
