Leadership Team UpdateLeadership met on Monday night to discuss the suggestions on achieving missionand outreach outcomes and for land use behind the tennis courts.Whatever we undertake needs to line up with our mission statement “Reachingout with the Love of Jesus that ALL may know, worship and grow in Christ”Some of the outcomes are still very open ended and very much dependant onGod’s leading, ongoing prayer and further discussion by Leadership.

we should fully support areas we are already involved in Alpha / parenting courses drop in Centre The land use behind the tennis courts maybe used as a community garden

but needs further research.

Thankyou to everyone who has made suggestions and please continue to pray forGod’s guidance.

News From Myanmar - Damadi Centre (Home)

In April 2016 the Battye's visited Myanmar and spoke with Pastor Martin.(This is the major project Ian and Dianne Kluge are involved in)

During water festival, the Lutheran youth have a camp at Damadi Centrefor bible & theological training on the subjects justification, sanctification, trinity and solfa training. We did it for 4 days (April 13th - 16th) and theyoung people have a lot of theological insight and understanding from thistraining. The young people of Damadi witnessed their faith on May 2nd atthe People's Park, Yangon handing out booklets / tracts to non believerscoming in to the park, sharing their faith about Christ. It was a publicholiday for the Budhaist Full Moon Festival for the start of the rainy sea-son. About 1000 booklets were handed out and the young people en-gaged in conversation with people. Please continue to pray for the church and it's mission in Myanmar.Ian & Dianne Kluge
