  • Dear Colleagues

We are delighted to announce our 5th International Hip Arthroscopy Meeting, which will again take place in the “Alte Kongresshalle” in the heart of Munich, from November 16–17, 2012. This year’s course will focus on the technique of hip arthroscopy for the treat-ment of hyaline cartilage damage and lesions of the acetabular la-brum and the management of FAI. Step-by-step guidelines on how to enter the joint and, most importantly, how to work within it will be provided. We expect debates on established techniques and new developments including cartilage transplantation and labral reconstruction.

Again, live arthroscopies with different surgeons from Europe and the United States will be transmitted into the lecture hall. Different techniques of positioning, distraction, portal placement and oper-ative treatment will be presented, provoking constructive discus-sions in the auditorium.

Munich, one of Germany’s most popular travel destinations, has much to offer. Whether you are interested in history, architecture or art; whether you enjoy strolling through parks, guided tours or a visit to Munich’s famous traditional beer gardens, you’ll always find something exciting in this multi-faceted city!

We look forward to welcoming you to Munich in November!
