The sanctuaries represent the national pride of the Khmers and were listed in 1992 as a World Heritage site by the UNESCO. Built between the 9 th and 14 th centuries with extraordinary creativity, the temples belong doubtless to one of the world’s architectural wonders. Phnom Penh, sitting on the confluence of three rivers, was long time considered as one of the loveliest French-built cities in Indochina. Unfortunately many buildings, in the recent past, endured the turbulent years of war. However the capital of the kingdom is rich of culture and has the most bustling markets in the country. DAY 01: Arrival Siem Reap ( L D ) Upon arrival Siem Reap meet by our representative and transfer to check in hotel. Tour start visit WatThmey (Killing Field), Then stop at the WAR MEMORIAL MONUMENT. After lunch, continues Visit “Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone-carving and wood- sculpting. Dinner at local restaurant with “Apsara” traditional dance performance. Then proceed to night market for 1hours. Noted: Visit the Angkor Night MarketThe first, best and currently the only true night market in Siem Reap. Located in the heart of town, the Angkor Night Market opens in the mid-afternoon and stays open until at least midnight. The Market harbors more than 100 shops and stalls offering souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, books, DVDs, electronics, jewelry, art and there’s even a travel agent, 3D movies...The shopping atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. DAY 02: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat ( B L D ) After breakfast at hotel, Tour start visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom –Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas,Elephant Terrance and Terrance of the Leper King. After lunch, continue visit Grand temple - Angkor Wat,TaprohmTemple,SrahSrong and proceed to Pre Rub temples until sunset,Next visit Souvenir Shop. Dinner at local restaurant.
