FAMILY SUnDAYS AT ThE

ST. LoUIS ART MUSEUM

Every Sunday afternoon you have a standing invitation to the St. Louis Art Museum for hands-on art activities and a lively 30-minute family tour through the galleries. No reservations required. Just drop in any Sunday afternoon between 1:00 and 4:00 pm for a lively and fun filled afternoon of seeing, learning, and making art. Each month’s activities focus on a differ-ent, family-friendly theme. The Family Tour leaves at 2:30 pm.

August’s theme is Back to Basics where kids (and adults) paint, sculpt, and draw. Experiment with clay, paint, and drawing techniques in the month of August. September brings Mixed-Up Media where an assortment of tech-niques and materials to produce exciting and unique art inspired by the Museum’s collection. The possibilities are endless as you create with pat-terns, textures, and layers.

This is a great and fun way to introduce children to the world of art. You may even discover a budding Van Gogh or Georgia O’Keefe hiding in your family.

Family Sundays are sponsored by The Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation. Additional support is provided by Macy’s.

Pack up the kids and come to Family Sundays at the St. Louis Art Museum in Forest Park. Admission to the Museum and Family Sundays is free. Complete details about this and other events at the Art Museum can be found at http://www.slam.org/Education

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Temtor building was de-signed in the early 1900s by noted architect Harry G. Clymer. Early press reports about the structure spoke of “integrity through workmanship, design, location and material.”

Named for its first tenant, the Temtor Fruits and Product Com-pany, and years later purchased by Coca-Cola to manufacture the secret syrup supplied to bottlers in a five-state area.

The heritage of freshness and great taste continues today. The Temtor offers businesses and residents modern conveniences while preserving the historic features of The Temtor’s early 20th century architecture.

Through a $27 million dollar renovation, the building’s design provides for retail, restaurant and business locations on the first floor, while the upper levels offer modern-industrial loft living that is affordable. The Temtor brings 100 years of tra-dition, history and allure.

Be a part of the revitalization of historic South Carondelet. Come to work or live in The Temtor, located at 8125 Michigan Avenue.

The Temtor offers classic appeal, modern amenities, roof top views, covered parking and spacious loft living. The first floor of this historic building contains approximately 28,000 square feet of commercial space. Perennial Artisan Ales is the first commercial tenant at The Temtor to enjoy the affordable and flexible spaces with expansive facades.

Rich with history and ripe with possibilities, The Temtor is the perfect place to set up shop or call home.

For more information about the loft apartments or our commercial spaces for lease at The Temtor please email us at [email protected] or call us at 314.631.9915.
