FOREWORD

It gives us great pride to be associated with the WILL Forum and the Best Mentee

Award for the sixth consecutive year. As an organization we are very passionate and

committed to providing the opportunities to ensure that there is a level playing field

for women in the workplace. We believe that unless we have the richness of diversity

which comes in from diverse thoughts, experiences and of course gender we stand to

lose the opportunity for wealth creation in the organization.

Going beyond our organization we are happy to say that the WILL Mentoring Program

which has the mission of leveraging the vast talent pool of women, sharing best

practices for women in the workplace and creating an eco-system for “balanced

leadership,” and mentoring women in leadership positions is an unique and

pioneering opportunity for us to share our thoughts, shape the level playing field and

to learn from each other Our best wishes are with the WILL Forum and all the Mentees

as we continue to partner and learn from one another.

Some Definitions……

As per KPMG report 2010 –“Adopting business strategies that meet the needs of the enterprise and its stakeholders today while sustaining the resources, both human and natural, that will be needed in the future.”

“For an organization or community to be sustainable (a long-run perspective), it must be financially secured (as evidenced through such measures as profitability), it must minimize (or ideally eliminate) its negative environmental impact, and it must act in conformity with society’s expectations”(Deegan, 1999)
