Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. (John 1:12) To begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, pray and ask Him to forgive you from your sins. Tell Him that you believe that He died on the cross for you and that He rose again. Tell Him that you want to give Him your life and ask Him to live through you. If you have prayed to receive Christ, welcome to His family! Tell someone about your new commitment. It is important to become involved in a Christ-centered church that teaches the Bible. Is there a promise I should claim? A sin I should confess? An example I should follow? HOW SHOULD I RESPOND TO GOD’S WORD? Pray and listen to His voice. Ask God to help you apply what you have read. Compare the answers to the questions in #2 to your own life, situations and habits. Listen for God to communicate to you through His Word and prayerfully meditate on what God is saying to you. “For the Word of God is living and active” Hebrews 4:12 ESV 1 2 3
