Cabin in the Woods

This is a good shot because they are able to completely set the scene and shows where the people are. This starts the scene of well and gives the viewer an in introduction where the people are. This from the start makes the people staright away make there own conceptions about the people and about there stereotypes straight away. This shot inspired me because from the start your able to make your own opinions about what the movie is going to be about and what is going to happen to the main characters

American Horror Story

I like this shot because everything else in the image has been out focused and by doing this its created an effect where the main character is the center of focus. This means that they are able to show that the main character also doesn’t care about anybody else because if they did they would be in focus to represent them being focused on by the main character and this would show the main character to show emotions to that person.

This shot of them round a fire looks like a shot where they are round the fire is a good shot as it would link to a shot that we would use in our movie because of them going around the fire as if they are telling each other stories. We would use this shot in our movie as if we was telling stories or myths around a camp fire and by doing so makes it look as if they are setting themselves up from the start to be taken by someone or something.

I like this shot as you don’t get to see the whole of the monster you are only able to the outline of it and by doing so makes the viewer of this to create there own image of what they think that the monster would actually look like. This shot could be remade by showing someone taking a selfie and in the picture they see the monster in the background of the shot and when they turn around there is nothing behind them. And then this leads to the mystery starting and them begging in the movie.

Goodnight Mommy

This is a good shot because they are using things that you would normally find in a bathroom to there advantage this means that they are able to see what the monster actually looks like. This means the viewer doesn't’t get a full view of what they look like they only get a small part of the creature by doing this it leave the person inquisitive into what it completely looks like and makes the viewer want to go on the journey with you.
