Dr. William Miller
Dr. William Miller, Dean of Libraries at Florida Atlantic University, will be retiring later this year after 27 years at FAU. He has had a distinguished career that includes receiving the ALA Reference and User Services Division’s Isadore Gilbert MudgeAward this year.
He has represented Florida Atlantic University on the SEFLIN Board since 1987. He is the last of SEFLIN’s founding Board members to retire from the SEFLIN Board.
Founding Members Honored
The SEFLIN Board recognizes the leaders of the six Founding Members as they retire. This plaque is displayed in the SEFLIN Office.
The last spaces mark the retirements of the two longest serving members of the Board
• Dr. Laurence Miller who retired from Florida International University in 2005 and
• Dr. William Miller who is retiring from Florida Atlantic University at the end of 2014.
