1. INTRODUCTION

Imagine a world where everybody can use modern IT without being an expert. Imagine using

only pen and paper to send e-mails and SMS. Pen-style Personal Networking adget are computers in

the shape o! di!!erent pens each having a !unction o! its own and when combined together give us the

usage o! a !ull-blown computer .It is a computer broken apart into pieces. "t the #$$% IT& Telecom

'orld exhibition held in eneva( the Tokyo-based N)* *orporation displayed a conceptual +%$($$$

prototype o! P-ISM. It is simply a new invention in computer and it is associated with communication

!ield. Surely this will have a great impact on the computer !ield

1.1 P-ISM:

0P-ISM 1Pen-style Personal Networking adget Package2. 'hen writing a 3uick note( pen and

paper are still the most natural to use. The / pen pc technology with digital pen makes it possible

to get a digital copy o! handwritten in!ormation( and have it sent to digital devices via 4luetooth.

P-ISM 5Pen-style Personal Networking adget Package6( which is nothing but the new discoverywhich is under developing stage by N)* *orporation. In this device you will !ind 4luetooth as

the main interconnecting device between di!!erent peripherals. P-ISM is a gadget package

keyboard( a very small pro7ector( camera scanner. P-ISMs are connected with one another

through short-range wireless technology 54luetooth6. The whole set is also connected to the

The !unctionality o! the *P& is done by one o! the pen. It is also known as computing engine.

have seen video phones hundreds o! times in movies.

The most important part in the portable type o! computer is its battery. &sually batteries

must be small in si=e and work !or longer time. It comes with a battery li!e o! DJ. ,or normal use it

can be used !or # weeks.

This :pen sort o! instrument: produces both the monitor as well as the keyboard on any !lat sur!aces

!rom where you can carry out !unctions you would normally do on your desktop computer.

"s it is touch screen( you would have to touch the screen o! your car to enter the destination which

can leave !ingerprint o! the screen- this problem can be resolved my using speck recognition-( the

visibility o! the map could change depending on the light o! the day i.e. when its sunny the light could

re!lect on the screen which decreases the visibility( as the pens are small you could lose them easily

which would cost you a lot and it could also block some o! your view.

1. CONC+USION

The communication devices are becoming smaller and compact. This is only an example !or

the start o! this new technology. 'e can expect more such developments in the !uture.

?ue to the usage o! such smaller communication devices the space can be reduced.Those

devices can be easily shi!ted !rom one place to other anywhere in the world.
