    1.1 Mounting

The unit must only be located in dry interior locations. Itis not suitable or installation in hazardous locations andshould not be placed close to any electromagnetic elds. Thecontroller must additionally be supplied rom a double-poleswitch with contact gap o at least 3 mm. Please pay atten-tion to separate routing o sensor cables and mains cables.

    1. Open the ront cover by pushing it. Unscrew the cross-head screw rom the cover and remove it along with the

ront cover rom the housing.2. Mark the upper astening point on the wall and drill and

asten the enclosed wall plug and screw leaving the headprotruding.

    3. Hang the housing rom the upper astening point andmark the lower astening point through the hole in theterminal box (centres 135 mm). Drill and insert the lowerwall plug.

    4. Hang the housing rom the upper astening point andattach with the lower screw.

    5. Carry out connection in accordance with the terminalallocation.

    6. Insert cover and attach with the cross-head screw. Closethe ront cover properly.

    ground-common terminal block

The controller is equipped with 13 sensor inputs in total. The ground connection or the sensors has to be carriedout via the ground terminal block (GND). Temperature sensors have to be connected to the

terminals S1 ... S10 and GND (either polarity).

The irradiation sensor (CS10) is to be connectedto the terminals CS10 and GND with correct polarity.Connect the terminal GND o the sensor to the terminalGND o the controller (ground terminal block), and theterminal CS o the sensor to the terminal CS10 o thecontroller.

A owmeter can be connected to the terminals Imp andGND (either polarity).

An external message signal can be connected to the

digital input Din. When the signal contact closes theinput Din, the message !message ext. is generated. This signal is treated like an error, which means that thecontrol lamp fashes red and the message relay is possiblyenergised.

    1.2.5 Mains supply

The power supply to the controller must be carried outvia an external power switch (last step!) and the supplyvoltage must be 115 V~ (50 ... 60 Hz). Flexible cables mustbe attached to the housing with the enclosed strain relie and the corresponding screws or be run into the controllerhousing in a cable conduit or trunking.

    Extra lter runtimeExpert/Options/Extra circ.and adjust:Expert/Adj. values/Extra circ.

    adjustment range: 1 ... 20 hactory setting: 2 h

This option is used or switching on an extra runtime o thelter pump (in h) i necessary (e.g. in the case o polluted

    pool water).

As soon as a contact is detected at the Din input, the lterpump starts and remains switched-on or the adjusted periodo time (extra runtime). The lter minimum runtime will notbe infuenced by this unction.

    External release

    Expert/Options/Ext. on/off

The external release unction is used or releasing the pumpor solar loading (e.g. or preventing the controller rom

switching on the pump during pump maintenance.) TheDin input must be closed to deblock the controller (solarloading, a terheating).

    actory setting: 1,5 K

I the maximum pool temperature is exceeded by theadjusted value ( D T-Cool), heat is diverted, provided thatthe absorber is by at least D TCool on colder than thepool. Cooling is switched o when the value D TCool O

    is reached.

Filter pump monitoringExpert/Options/Pump monitorselection Yes or No

When fowmeter is used and when the the lter pump is

switched on, this option monitors whether there is a fowrate in the solar circuit. I the controller does not receiveany pulse a ter 2 minutes, the lter pump will be switched-o and an error message will be generated.

    10. Accessory

    Overvoltage protection device

In order to avoid overvoltage damage at collector sensors(e.g. caused by local lightning storms), we recommend in-stalling the overvoltage protection SP10.

    Sensors

Our product range includes high-precision platin tempe-rature sensors, fatscrew sensors, outdoor temperaturesensors, indoor temperature sensors, cylindrical clip-onsensors and irradiation sensors, also as complete sensorswith immersion sleeve.
