To celebrate 2016 International Children's Book Day*, Guanghwa Bookshop is honoured towork with Snowflake Books to organise a special children's event. This event hopes to inspirea love of reading and a greater appreciation of children's books. During the event, SnowflakeBooks will launch a new title in their Stories of Animal Signs series about the animals of theChinese Zodiac.
The event will start with a warmup singing session, followed by a Chinese Zodiac storytellingsession (in Mandarin). Old Chinese legends are a whole new and exciting world for children todiscover!
After the storytelling session, we have prepared card games, language activities, question timeand colouring! The games will teach children Chinese numbers and animal names. At the endof the event, the children will be able to participate in a lucky draw to answer a question aboutthe Zodiac animals. If the lucky child answers correctly, he or she will win a book! If the answeris incorrect, the child will still receive a little gift as a lucky draw winner!
Join us to celebrate and share traditional Chinese stories with children!
Tickets: Free. Reserving a place for your children is recommended as space is limited [email protected] for reservation, you will receive an exclusive 5% off discount code onyour purchase during the event.
