Power supply alternatives for DU/RRU:
-48 V DC (two-wire) 120–250 V AC
DU (DIGITAL UNIT) RRU (REMOTE RADIO UNIT) PSU (POWER SUPPLY UNIT- OPTIONAL) BFU (BATTERY FUSE UNIT)

DIGITAL UNIT(DU)
DUL ( LTE )DUW ( WCDMA )DUG ( GSM )
DU
DU IS JUST LIKE AN DXU/MU IN 2000 RBS.
The DU has the following functions:• Timing function• Loadable software• Downlink baseband processing• Uplink baseband processing• IP traffic management• Radio interface
The DU provides: switching, traffic management, timing, baseband processing, and radio interfacing.
Position Description
A Support system
B Digital Unit (DU)
Power Cabling in Single Support System Configuration with one DU
The RU main purpose is to send and receive signals. The RU receives digital data and converts it to analog signals. It also receives radio signals and converts these to digital signals.
TYPES OF RRU.• RUW(RADIO UNIT FOR WCDMA)• RUG(RADIO UNIT FOR GSM)• RUL(RADIO UNIT FOR LTE)• RUS(MULTISTANDARD RADIO)
• BASIC FUNCTION Tx Amplification Tx/Rx Duplexing Tx/Rx Filtering Antenna Supervision Support
