Just as the dutch staked new ground when they established new

netherland, so is Oosten staking new ground in south williamsburg.

purchased by the dutch east india company from native american settlers

in 1638, williamsburg got its name in the 1800s, when it became a hub

for factories, foundries, and shipyards. in the early 1900s, immigrants
