400C67 CUSTOM 2011-2016 FORD 6.7 POWER STROKE PROGRAMMER Quick Reference Guide IMPORTANT NOTE The installation process if very easy and should not take long for programming and installation to be accomplished. To speed and streamline the installation, follow these recommendations. It is very important in the programming process that the vehicle’s battery is fully charged and you DO NOT have a drain on the battery. Once the programming cable has been connected to the vehicle’s diagnostic port and to the programmer, DO NOT remove or disturb the cable during the ENTIRE programming process. Only remove the cable from the diagnostic port when the installation is complete. DO NOT leave the vehicle during programming. The programmer screen will display instructions for you to follow i.e., turning the key to the On position (but NOT starting the engine), and you will be asked to select certain engine tuning and vehicle adjustment features. During the installation and programming if an error should occur, a help number will be displayed on the programmer screen. Write down the error message and contact the tech support team on the provided telephone number from 9am-6pm, Eastern Time, Monday-Friday. Step 1 - Plug tuner into vehicle and turn ignition on. Step 2 - The tuner must read and clear DTCs first before entering into programming mode. Step 3 - Choose your power level/transmission setting. NOTE: See descriptions of different power levels. Step 4 - If you have larger tires or changed the rear axle ratio, select using up and down arrows. Step 5 - Select whether tire pressure monitor (tpms) is enabled or disabled. Step 6 - Continue to follow the key on/off prompts to complete the installation. THERE IS A SELECTION OF 5 POWER LEVELS Stock hp file - Tow full capacity* Tow file - 40hp/125ft-lbs tq - Tow up to 20k lbs* Street file - 80hp/235ft-lbs tq - Tow up to 12k lbs* Performance file - 120hp/440ft-lbs tq** - Tow up to 4k lbs* Extreme file - 180hp/500ft-lbs tq** - Towing is NOT recommended with the Extreme file * These are recommended towing capacities. While towing, try not to race the truck or take off fast from a stop. Use common sense. ** Level 3 (Performance) and level 4 (Extreme) require a cold air intake. There are 3 transmission levels to choose from, STOCK, STREET, and EXTREME. STOCK or STREET can be used with Stock, Tow, or Street power levels. EXTREME should be used with Performance and Extreme power levels. PLEASE NOTE - VERY IMPORTANT See Figures A & B. You will need to unplug EGR connectors under the hood. On the passenger side near top of valve cover you will see an orange connector. Unplug that one. Right next to it there is a vacuum actuated valve with a black connector,unplug that one (Only on 15-16 trucks). Then on the front of the engine, in between the engine and radiator fan shroud, you will see an orange connector. It is underneath a large tube. Slide back the safety tab and unplug.
