Serengeti Echoes 4 JUNE 2012 Golf Club Newsflash Message from Golf Management Due to an ever increasing membership base we continuously monitor our bookings policies and procedures. We have decided to include bookings on Whistling Thorn only on the traditional members days, being Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. These time slots will change from Winter to Summer and will allow our members and their guests, an opportunity to play 18 holes starting on Whistling Thorn and crossing over behind the field onto Masai Mara. This means on competition days, Wednesdays and Saturdays, that there would be two separate competitions running. We believe this will aleviate some of our bookings challenges. Contact 011 552 7207 or Chris or Dietrich should you have any queries. Bookings available from Monday 4 June. The next golf event is the ‘US Open’ tournament on 16 June and we ask that you continue to support our monthly Friday 9 hole Sundowners. Serengeti is involved in the planning of the ‘Olympic Footwear Mountain Bike Challenge’ which takes place on Saturday, 24 June. The Start and Finish is situated at Curro Serengeti Academy. Should you wish to enter please contact Liesel on 079 869 5030 or email [email protected]. Remember to diarise the Serengeti Winter Market scheduled for Saturday, 28 July.
