Mrs.

Tuesday Feb. 2nd is a School improvement day. There will not be classes.

We are continuing to learn about the earth and what it is made up of. Students learned about crystals in last week’s lab. It was fun to see their crystals grow. It is an easy lab and can be done at home by using Epsom salts in hot water. Once the water evaporates, the crystals form.

This week we are learning about the Southeast region in Soc. Studies. There will be a map test on Friday. Students must know the state and it’s capital and put it in the correct plan on a map.

Last Wednesday we were able to get most of the students on the computer lab. This is our goal for each week. Tomorrow we will use Study Island and check out some great math websites. We may even get to try a science lab on line!
