Information part 1 Most important facts about your topic • • • Batman’s family includes Red Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, Alfred the Butler and his son, who is also a Robin! He’s only related to one of them by blood and one by adoption. Information part 2 More information about your topic, or more detailed information • • • My favorite member of the Batman Family is Damien, Batman’s real son. He’s the current Robin. His mother is Talia Al Ghul. Can you imagine those family dinners? Damien did not meet Batman until he was twelve years old and when he met his father he made the decision to become a hero. Information part 3 Information about how/why people might use/become involved with your topic • • • If you wanted to read more about the Batman Family I suggest Batman and Son, the story where Damien was introduced, or Death of the Family. Death of the Family is a story about the Joker trying to distance Batman from those he calls family. Closing I hope you enjoyed learning about __________. Repeat briefly main ideas, one sentence reminding us about what you said in part 1, 2 and 3. I hope you liked hearing about Batman’s family today. The most important things to remember:
1. Talk in a loud voice. 2. Talk in a clear voice. 3. Talk in a slow voice.
4. Pick a topic you love and know about. 5. Have fun and ice cream afterwards.
6. Don’t get too stressed, this is your first time and it’s all about learning how to do a presentation.
For your poster:
1. Use images and words that are big enough to be seen.
2. Remember to use it during your presentation, not just the beginning or end.
3. Put things on there that help you remember what you need to say, like clues.
