My Dream for our community’s health is:

Text your ‘free text’ response to 22333

PollEverywhere

• Worksheets and PollEverywhere: • What sectors of our community should be at the table?

• Text your ‘free text’ response to 22333

• Or ‘like’ if you see the sector already listed

• Handwritten on table worksheets• What organizations should be consulted?

• What individuals should be consulted?

Community Councils

COMMIT to collective action

•Consider joining activity and nutrition community councils this fall to identify priorities and organize our collective work

•Determine gaps and needs and break down silos – together

•Determine which policies and programs are working (or not)

•Partner collectively to co-create a countywide portfolio of projects and influence systemic policy change

Community DatabaseDEDICATE your work

• We’re building a community database to help make your work visible to others – with help

from PIHC as part of their backbone support

• Through the database, dedicate your work toward a common agenda to improve nutrition

and/or increase activity

• Share programs, data, measurements, successes, goals, and resources to collaborate and

empower others

• What do you need to enhance your work? Let everyone know! Leverage community

resources to strengthen your reach and share best practices to achieve your goals!

• Work together to align efforts – strengthen your impact and give funders cohesive, targeted

and coordinated programs and projects that give them the biggest bang for their buck

Signatories are already sharing what they need to expand current or create new programs. The vast majority of you are lacking:

• Funding! For additional staff, for program needs and incentives

• Available time of current staff

• Tracking devices for wellness programs and other measurement tools

• Collaboration with community partners and sharing of resources

• Knowledge of best practices from others
