ThirdPartyFundraisingGuidelines

KidsPlusFoundationwelcomesindividuals,groupsandorganisationswhowishtofacilitateeventsandactivitieswiththepurposeofraisingfundsforKidsPlusFoundation.

ToensureKidsPlusFoundationcomplieswithassociatedregulations,itisimportantthatthefollowingguidelinesareadheredtobyThirdParties(individualsororganisationsexternaltoKidsPlusFoundation)undertakingfundraisingactivities.

Onceyouhavereadandunderstoodtheseguidelines,pleasesignthedeclarationandreturntoKidsPlusFoundation.

FundraisingforKidsPlusFoundation•‘Fundraiser/s’meansthethirdpartyindividual/group/organisationhostingfundraisingeventsoractivitiestoraiseproceedsforKidsPlusFoundation.TheFundraiserisathirdpartyandisnotanagentofKidsPlusFoundationanddoesnotreceivepaymentforfundraisingforKidsPlusFoundation.TheFundraiserdoesnotrepresentKidsPlusFoundationnorspeakoractonKidsPlusFoundation’sbehalf.

•TheFundraiser’sactivitiesareexternaltoKidsPlusFoundationandthereforenotofficialKidsPlusFoundationactivities.TheFundraisertakessoleresponsibilityandliabilityfortheplanning,promotionandmanagementofeventsandactivities.KidsPlusFoundationmayprovideguidanceandsupportifsuitable.

•TheFundraiser’sactivitiesmustalignwithKidsPlusFoundation’spurposeandorganisationalvalues,andcannotbeassociatedwiththepromotionofalcohol,tobaccoand/ordrugs.

•KidsPlusFoundationwillnotendorsehighriskfundraisingeventsoractivitiesincluding,butnotlimitedto,extremesports,useoffirearmsorfireworksandmotorvehicleormotorbikeracing,oranyeventwhichmaydetractfromtheprincipleofaninclusivesociety.KidsPlusFoundationisunabletoprovidepublicliabilityinsurancecovertothirdpartyfundraisingevents.

Acknowledgement•TheFundraiserisrequiredtoapplytofundraiseforKidsPlusFoundationbysubmittingaThirdPartyFundraisingApplication.

•Oncetheapplicationisapproved,KidsPlusFoundationwillissueaSanctiontoFundraiseletter,whichtheFundraiserwillusetodemonstrateacknowledgementofthefundraisingevent/activity.

•ItistheresponsibilityoftheFundraisertocomplywithallrelevantcounciland/orstatelawsandregulationspertainingtotheiractivities,includingobtainingappropriatepermits/licencesifnecessary.

Name,Logo&Resources•FundraisingactivitiesmustbeconductedinthenameoftheFundraiserandnotinthenameofKidsPlusFoundation.WhenreferringtoKidsPlusFoundation,usewordingsuchas“…proudlysupportingKidsPlusFoundation…”or“FundsraisedwillsupporttheworkofKidsPlusFoundation”.

•TheKidsPlusFoundationlogocannotbeusedwithoutpriorpermissionfromKidsPlusFoundation.WhenpermissionisgrantedfortheuseoftheKidsPlusFoundationlogo,thelogomustappearinfullandnotalteredinanyway.

•AnycommunicationorartworkthatusesKidsPlusFoundation’snameand/orlogomustbeapprovedbyKidsPlusFoundationbeforebeingproducedanddisseminated.DraftsofthesematerialsshouldbesubmittedtoKidsPlusFoundationatleast5businessdaysbeforeapprovalisneeded.

•Whereappropriate,KidsPlusFoundationmayprovidepromotionalresourcesforfundraisingactivitiessuchasflyers,brochuresandbanners.

FinancialAccountability•AllfinancialaspectsoffundraisingactivitiesarethesoleresponsibilityoftheFundraiser.KidsPlusFoundationwillnotpayexpensesincurredbytheFundraiserinfacilitatingeventsandactivities.

•AllfundsraisedmustbeprovidedtoKidsPlusFoundationwithin28daysoftheenddatestatedintheThirdPartyFundraisingApplication

•KidsPlusFoundationwillissueareceipttothethirdpartyfundraiseruponreceivingdonatedfunds.

KidsPlusFoundationreservestherighttowithdrawitsacknowledgementforfundraisingeventsoractivitiesatanytimeifthefundraiserfailstoadheretoanyoftheaboveguidelines.
