Halloween 3 rd Grade Lesson Plans Note: Only supplies can be sent to school for parties. Please do not have parents send money to school. Games: 1. Flyswatter & Balloon Relay Race – kids bounce a small balloon with a flyswatter to the end and back. If their balloon falls on the ground they have to start over! 2. Mr. Bones Relay Race: a. Before the party, print the skeleton on cardstock and cut out (you’ll need 1 complete skeleton for each team). See page 4. b. At game time, divide players into teams of 2 or more and place each team’s parts in bowls across the room. c. At ‘Go’ team members take turns hopping/running/crab walking etc. to the bowl. Players can assemble their skeletons on a flat surface. The first team to correctly complete its skeleton wins. 3. Halloween Charades- Kids act out words or phrases written on a slip of paper. The object is to get your team to guess the answer using gestures alone.
