Students are still using the older math text book, before common core. The lessons in the text book that are used are still hitting the new common core standards. However, they are no longer in the correct order or sometimes topic. Therefore, please pay close attention to the student planner for the correct page numbers. If students are not using their text books, then they will have a printed off sheet for that lesson so that the common core standards are being met. Students will begin reviewing their addition and subtraction facts of 0-18. Multiplication and division facts will be introduced beginning next month, as they are introduced in math lessons.
