22 - 25 September, 2013PISA, Italy

After the first Conference on "Innovation in Drug Delivery" (Naples, 2007) and the second one (Aix en Provence, 2010), ADRITELF and APGI are pleased to announce the third appointment of the series. This time the meeting will be mainly focused on “Advances in Local Drug Delivery”, a challenging topic for the development of new therapeutic approaches. The confer-ence will cover all the topics related to Local Drug Delivery, including: drug targeting, topical administration, in situ forming systems as well as biomaterials. This important event will represent a stimulating occasion capable to foster intellectual and scientific exchanges among the participants. As usual, plenary and invited lectures as well as oral and poster contributions will be present in the program. The programme will also include technical sessions devoted to specific scientific equipment or tools. This third Conference will take place at the Congress Center of Pisa, Italy, from the 22 to 25, September, 2013.

The conference is jointly organized by ADRITELF (Associazione Docenti e Ricercatori Italiani di Tecnologie e Legislazione Farmaceutiche), Italy, and APGI (Association de Pharmacie Galénique Industrielle – International Society of Drug Delivery Sciences and Technology), France. About 350 to 400 participants are expected (350 attendees joined us in Naples).

The programme of the conference wi l l include technical sessions devoted to speci f ic scient i f ic equipment, techniques or other tools in the f ie lds related to the topic “Advances in Local Drug Del ivery”.I f you are interested in giv ing a lecture (20 min) in a technical session of the conference, please contact us (apgi [email protected] or mfadda@unica. i t ) . Only sponsors and exhibi tors are el ig ib le to give technical session lectures (a normal sponsorship of your choice -minimum bronze level- , or rental of an exhibi t ion space). I f your topic is selected by the scient i f ic commit tee, we wi l l charge you with an addi t ional fee of 1500 € (+ 21% VAT). This addi t ional fee includes a ½ page advert isement in the APGI Newslet ter “La Gazette” and one conference registrat ion. (Only 6 companies can be accepted).

Contributed papersContr ibuted papers wi l l be presented from 23 to 25 September, 2013, ei ther oral ly or in poster form.Abstracts of contr ibuted papers and submission forms must be sent by e-mai l by the corresponding author to APGI ([email protected]) by 1 March, 2013 . For the presentat ion of abstracts, the authors must careful ly fo l low the guidel ines that can be downloaded from the websi te: www.apgi .org. A not i f icat ion of receipt wi l l be sent to the corre-sponding author. Authors wi l l be not i f ied of acceptance of their paper and of the mode of presentat ion (oral or poster) by 15 June, 2013. Important: Part ic ipants contr ibut ing a poster or oral presentat ion should, to have their abstract publ ished in the Conference Programme/Abstract Book, set t le the registrat ion fee before 1 August, 2013 .
