En participant à cette manifestation, chaque concurrent reconnaît qu’il lui appartient sous sa seule responsabilité de décider s’il doit prendre le départ ou non, ou continuer le parcours ou non, en fonction des conditions météorologiques et des capacités du bateau et de son équipage. 2 Identification.

Chaque bateau concurrent portera, sur le pataras, la flamme d’identification remise lors du tirage au sort des bateaux.

- CLASSE 1 Flamme Verte - CLASSE 2 Flamme Rouge - CLASSE 3 Flamme Jaune - CLASSE 4 Flamme Bleue Les classes sont établies en rassemblant les bateaux en fonction des handicaps de la FFV et seront utilisées pour les classements. 3 Avis aux concurrents.

Le panneau d’information officiel est situé sous le « Chapiteau Arianes’Cup » ou sur le bateau « OSCAR1» le dimanche soir. 4 Signaux à terre.

- Il n’y aura pas de signaux à terre, ceux-ci seront remplacés par un signal situé dans la mâture du bateau OSCAR 1. - Le pavillon « Aperçu » hissé sur ce mât accompagné de deux signaux sonores signifie que le départ est retardé. - Un signal sonore lors de l’amenée signifie que vous devez vous rendre sur la zone de départ ; le signal d’avertissement ne pourra être donné moins de 30 minutes après cette amenée. 5 Parcours.

5.1 Zone des parcours : La zone des parcours est située entre la côte Croate aux abords de Boatic Marina et les iles Pakleni au sud de la pointe ouest de l’ile de HVAR. Cartes Shom 7326, aldmiralty 2712

5.2 Zone interdite à la navigation :

Il n’y a pas de zone interdite sauf aux abords des caps Gaj et Marinsa (sw de Solta) s’en tenir à 0.3 NM , et en raison d’un intense trafic le passage entre les iles de Solta et Brac est déconseillé en flotte nombreuse. 5.3 Les parcours possibles du Dimanche et Lundi sont définis en ANNEXE 2.1 - PARCOURS CÔTIER,

Nota : Les waypoints de ces cartes sont indiquatifs, pour aider à situer les marques de la première colonne.

5.4 Le numéro de parcours retenu sera affiché sur un tableau installé à l’arrière du bateau comité. Cette information sera aussi communiquée par VHF (canal 77 à confirmer) avant le signal d’avertissement ou, si possible, lors du « Skipper Meeting » 5.5 Le parcours du Mardi « Spéciale Ariane’s Cup » est défini en ANNEXE 2.2 - PARCOURS SPECIALE ARIANE’S CUP. 7. Départ. Le Pavillon de départ sera le drapeau défini au premier skipper meeting. Les heures des parcours sont données en annexe 3 - Programme Les heures de départ et d’arrivée de chaque bateau seront relevées par les bateaux comités et le temps corrigé du coefficient de handicap utilisé pour les classements. Le départ individuel toutes classes confondues est donné comme suit :

Les temps seront comptés à partir des signaux visuels. L’absence d’un signal sonore ne doit pas être prise en considération. La zone de départ sera un rectangle de 100 x 150 mètres environ formé par trois bouées et le bateau comité, une bouée de dégagement sera, si possible, située dans l’axe de cette zone, afin d’éviter la situation de bord favorable au départ.

L’axe de ce rectangle sera orienté à environ 70 à 80 degrés du vent, de façon à ce que les bateaux partants soient au bon plein pour traverser la zone et franchir la ligne de départ, sans avoir à tirer de bord, tout en étant à même de ralentir par déventement des voiles.

L’entrée dans la zone de départ se fera moteur arrêté, par la porte opposée à la ligne de départ.

Les bateaux qui entrent dans cette zone devront impérativement prendre le départ, toute sortie par un petit coté de cette zone sera considérée comme DNS. L’entrée par un petit coté de cette zone sera DSQ.

En cas de situation d’engagement sur la ligne (plusieurs bateaux ensembles), les bateaux masqués franchissant la ligne de départ devront annoncer au passage de la ligne leur numéro par VHF, l’heure enregistrée pour le groupe sera celle du premier bateau du groupe en route libre devant.

L’objectif étant de limiter les risques d’abordage, il y a interdiction de manœuvrer dans la zone :

• -pas de lof,

• -pas de virement ni d’arrêt, Seul le ralentissement par déventement des voiles pour éviter un bateau moins rapide est autorisé

De plus, les bateaux sortant du port ou du mouillage ne devront pas encombrer le plan d’eau aux abords (0.5 mile) de la zone sauf pour prendre le départ.

La ligne de départ sera fermée 30 minutes après le départ constaté du premier bateau. 8. Bouée de dégagement.

Une bouée de dégagement sera mouillée dans l’axe du sas par rapport à la ligne de départ, un pavillon « D » sera envoyé sur le bateau Comité; si la bouée de dégagement est à laisser à tribord, un pavillon VERT sera envoyé sous le pavillon « D ». S’il n’y a pas de pavillon VERT, la bouée de dégagement est à laisser à bâbord. Une information VHF sera donnée ainsi que le cap et la distance.

9.Réductions de parcours sont possibles à n’importe quelle marque de parcours. Dans ce cas, le Pavillon « S » sera envoyé sur le bateau comité arborant le pavillon «ANA» et «ARIANE’S CUP» Pavillon <<OSCAR>> envoyé à une marque à contourner signifie : Après le passage de cette marque rejoignez directement la ligne d’arrivée en respectant l’article IC 5.2 zone interdite à la navigation.

10. Arrivée.

10.1 Les extrémités de la ligne d’arrivée sont déterminées par le mât du bateau Comité arborant les pavillons orange et bleu et le côté parcours d’une bouée cylindrique ou d’une marque de parcours. 10.2 Les voiliers ne réussissant pas à terminer dans les 60 minutes après l’arrivée du premier de la classe sont classés « DNF ». 11. Systéme de pénalités.

11.1 L'Ariane's Cup étant une manifestation essentiellement festive, une navigation prudente est recommandée. En cas de doute sur le fait que le bateau prioritaire a ou non agi à temps pour éviter le contact, il sera

considéré qu'il ne l'a pas fait et il sera également disqualifié. 11.2 Pour toute infraction, une pénalité de rotation de 360° est appliquée à l’exception des infractions relevant de l’article 7

11.3 Reconnue ou non, une infraction à ces règles pourra, après instruction, être sanctionnée d’une pénalité pouvant aller jusqu'à la disqualification. 12. Réclamations.

12.1 Les réclamations doivent être signalées par un pavillon rouge puis écrites et déposées au bateau comité au plus tard une ½ heure après l’arrivée du dernier concurrent ou avant 13:00 pour la « Spéciale navigateurs ». 13. Classements. 13.1 A chaque parcours les bateaux, après application des pénalités éventuelles, reçoivent, suivant leur place, des points selon le système de points à minima. 13.2 Différents classements seront effectués, général, classe… 14. Sécurité. 14.1 CANAL VHF : 77 à confirmer 14.2 Tout concurrent qui abandonne doit impérativement le signaler au bateau Comité ou Commissaire par tout moyen. 14.3 Les bateaux Comité ou Commissaire arborent les pavillons « ANA » et « ARIANE’S CUP » 14.4 Cartes marines du SHOM n° :7326 15. Règlement. Le règlement de l’Ariane’s Cup fait partie intégrante des présentes instructions. 16. Régle de propreté. Les concurrents s’engagent à respecter l’environnement à terre et à ne rien jeter en mer. 17. Retour De retour au port, remise des cagnards et flammes à OSCAR, nettoyage et inventaire des bateaux.

Nota : Il y a des anomalies magnétiques dans cette région, entre les iles de Brac et de Hvar.

Les marques de parcours sont des iles, ilots ou rochers, les point GPS mis en référence ne sont pas des

marques de parcours mais uniquement des indications pour que le navigateur les repère plus rapidement

The objective of this procedure is to limit the risk of collision before and during departures

Times will be from the visual signals. The absence of a sound signal must not be taken into consideration. The start area will be a rectangle of around 100 x 150 meters formed by the buoys and the committee boat. An offset buoy will be located on the axis of the departure gate, in order to avoid a favorable side at the start. Distance and direction will be displayed on committee boat.

The major axis of the rectangle will be oriented at about seventy to eighty degrees to the wind, so that the starting boats are able to cross the area and cross the starting line, without having to tack. Entry to the start area will be with the motor stopped and only by the door opposite to the starting line.

The boats that enter the zone must imperatively start the race. Any boat crossing the small sides of the starting area will be considered as DNS. Entry through a little side of this area will be DSQ. If there is an engagement position on the line (several boats together), boats crossing the start line will announce their passage of the line with their number by VHF. The time recorded for the group will be the one of the first boat of the group clear ahead.

The aim is to limit the risk of collision, therefore it is prohibited to luff in the area, no more to tack or stop. Only the slowdown by adjustment of the sails to avoid a slower boat is allowed.

In addition, vessels leaving the port or anchorage shall not clutter the vicinity (half mile) of the starting area except during a starting operation.

The starting line will be closed 30 minutes after the start of the first boat.

8. Axis Mark.

The «D" flag displayed on the Committee Boat means that there is an offset mark in the axis of the departure lock. Distance and direction will be indicated on the committee boat.

A GREEN flag displayed means that the offset mark is to be left to STARBOARD. This changes Race Signals. Absence of the GREEN flag means that the offset mark is to be left to PORT. This changes Race Signals. Information will be broadcast by VHF including cap and distance.

9.Shortening course is possible at any mark of the course. In this case « S » flag will be displayed on a boat displaying a «ANA » flag and the « ARIANE’S CUP » flag.

Flag<OSCAR>> sent to a mark to work around means: after the passage of this mark directly reach the finish line. All navigation restrictions must be followed in accordance with article 5.2 above.

10. The finishing line.

10.1 The extremities of the finishing line are determined by the mast of the committee boat displaying orange and blue flags and the course side of a cylindrical buoy or a mark of the course. 10.2 Boats failing to finish within 60 minutes of the first boat to finish correctly in their class will be scored « DNF ». 11. Penalty System.

11.1 The Ariane’s cup is a mostly festive event, a careful navigation is recommended. In case of a doubt that the right-of-way boat did not act to avoid contact it will be assumed that he did not take action and will be disqualified as well. 11.2 For all infringements a penalty of 360° is applied except for infringements relating to article 7 11.3 Recognized or not an infringement to these regulations may, after instruction, be punished by a penalty up to disqualification 12. Protests.

12.1 Boats intending to protest must display a red flag. The protest must be lodged in writing at the Race Office at the latest 30 minutes after the finish of the last competitor and at 13:00 the day of the « Special Navigator ». 13. Ranking.

13.1 For each event competitors will be scored, after application of any relevant penalties, using the Low Points scoring system. 13.2 Different classification will be applied, general, class etc. 14. Safety. 14.1 VHF Channel: 77 to be confirmed 14.2 Any competitor who retires from an event must inform a Committee vessel by whatever means necessary.

Nota : There are magnetic anomalies between islands of Brac and Hvar.

Sailing marks are islands, islets or rocks, GPS information are not marks, it is only for help

navigator to locate them more easily on the map.

- 9:00 à 17:00 Arrivée des équipages, Tirage au sort des bateaux, Formalités et prise en main. - 9:00 to 17:00 Arrival of the crews, drawn of the boats, formalities and familiarization - 19h00 Cérémonie de bienvenue - 19h00 welcome celebration - Soirée libre dans les restaurants à Seget ou Trogir (2 km) - Free evening in Seget or Trogir restaurants.

Dimanche 07 octobre/ Sunday 07th of October with convivial event

- 8h00 Briefing - 9:00 to 9:30 Départ 1ère manche (horaire à confirmer) - 9:00 to 9:30 Start of the first event (to be confirmed) - 12h30 time limit for arrival - 13:30 to 14:00 start of the second event - 18:00 time limit for arrival - À partir de 19 :00 repas à bord à Palmezana Marina puis fête à Vinogradisce bay (350 mètres à pied) - (Invitez l’équipage voisin pour prendre le diner ensemble : bonus 5 points pour chaque bateau)

Mardi 09 octobre “épreuve spéciale navigateur’’/ Tuesday 09

th of October “Special navigator race”

- 8:30 opening of departure gate for the special navigator event. - 12h30 time limit for arrival. (for this event the time taken for each boat will be calculated with the real starting time and 12:00). - Retour au port, nettoyage et Inventaire - Return to harbour, vessel cleaning and redelivery - 16h00 remise des prix sous le chapiteau. - 16h00 price giving ceremony under the tent.

- remise des cagnards et flammes à OSCAR, nettoyage et inventaire - don’t forget to return rail numbers and pennant to Oscar, before return your boat clean to charterer.

Nota : Time schedule for navigation part may be changed in accordance with weather conditions.

In that case participants will be notified on time at the briefing and/or by VHF.
