Jair dies, and the Ammonites conquer Jair’s cities and Heshbon. They also cross the Jordan and oppress the western tribes. This lasts 18 years. In his diplomacy Jepthah rounds the 322 years off to 300.

Acts 13:20 does not say "about 450 years" due to estimation or imprecision in the figure. The 450 year figure is a direct sum of all the figures starting in the book of Judges, and ending with Samuel's accession. The years of the Judges (i.e. Joshua and the Elders) between the division of the land and the first oppression are left out, and also Samuel's years. The missing figures must be indirectly computed, so Paul left those figures out of his speech.
