• Provide information on emerging trends in health care, practice management and political issues to assist advanced practice nurses in positioning their practice for the future of health care.
• Challenge participants to consider the complexities of an interdisciplinary, highly complex health care system as it affects future roles and practice opportunities.

The use of a specific stimulus to anchor a hypnotic suggestion for pain relief was demonstrated in two case studies which the published article detailed. Similar results were obtained by two Israeli psychiatrists who treated PTSD in Israeli soldiers with the same method of olfactory stimulus.

If you’re interested in taking an active part in the success
of our conference, we’re glad to have your help. CANP is
looking for volunteers to serve as moderators during each of
our engaging educational sessions. Moderators will introduce
the guest speaker, keep sessions on time, and remind all
attendees to have their badge or session tags scanned.
Volunteers will receive a biography of the speaker for the
session, a moderator how-to guide and any additional
information that applies to the session. To participate, simply
check the corresponding box on your registration form and

YOGA WITH CANPFRIDAY, MARCH 21 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.Yoga with CANP is open to all levels,
from beginner to expert. Although yoga
poses are a physical exercise, they have
the added benefit of bringing great
balance to the mind, body and spirit. A
morning yoga practice is a great way to
energize before a busy conference day.

an easy 5K (3.1 miles) course. Always a conference highlight, the 5K Fun Run/Walk is a great way for members, exhibitors,
sponsors and guests to come together and get moving before the day’s educational sessions. All participants receive a t-shirt,
water and a snack at the end of the race. Registration is $15 per person.
