    performance of Employees.

    employee performance.

    Example- If a employee is in a calm and

    stable frame of mind due to a content

    family life then he or she would bemore productive n committed towards

    the organization.

    A situation in which an employee expresses

    organizationally desired emotions during

    interpersonal transactions at work.

    Emotional dissonance is inconsistencies betweenthe emotions people feel and emotions theyproject.

    Examples- Airhostesses to be cheerful, Doctors

    are expected to be emotionally neutral.

    Neutral Emotions never exists in an individual.

    Positive emotions are always productive and

    should be always encouraged.

    Negative emotions most of the time will reduce

    productivity and effectiveness of an individual, so

    they should always be kept in a check.

    Emotions as long as human life exists will play avital role in day to day life as well as

    organizations.
