360 ball is the “Sport in a Circle”.

A new sporting concept that utilizes the principlesand properties of a circle to define a ball sport.

360ball is a racquet sport played by two players orbetween two teams of two players (doubles) in acircular court.

Players use the racquets to strike a rubber ball sothat it bounces of a centrally placed concave disc.There are no sides to the court and play pivotsaround the disc.

• 360ball means exercise and cardio training – whichstimulates cognitive functioning.

• The game requires full-body coordination andfocused attention.

Majority of our children spend hours in front of the TVor the PlayStation. These type of activities require only1-dimensional viewing. No horizontal eye-movement orperipheral viewing is required, which is a major elementfor brain development and the essential task ofreading.

The sport of 360ball requires this lateral eye movementand peripheral viewing – while concentrating on thecentrally placed disc, each player has to keep hispartner as well as his opponent in sight to play astrategic game.

• Right from the beginning, after the “birth” of 360ball, theinterest in playing 360ball has been immense.

• As 360ball requires relatively little equipment at low cost -this game is ideal to be introduced into Community Projects.

• Knysna’s Community - previously disadvantaged young menand women- have started their own 360ball club – with asponsored disc + ricochet board from the inventors of thegame – playing in an old water reservoir which had been“upgraded” into a 360ball court and since had been used on adaily basis.

Our Vision

Our vision is to grow 360ball into an international Sport with worldwide leagues and Championships. 360ball will get recognised by the IOC and become an Olympic discipline.

Our Strategy

We believe that by introducing 360ball to schools we will create a huge base of players and followers of the new sport. The students of today will be the league players of tomorrow.

With the daily use of Social Media Platforms by these students the sport of 360ball will be marketed naturally and create huge awareness.

Including previously disadvantaged and rural schools into these school projects we will create a community angle which will give additional value to our sponsors.
