STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: President Mandli J and K Surya Gram Vikas Samiti (MJKS- GVS) (NGO Regd) Jaseel Singh Salathia held a meeting in which he repeated the quote of ABP channel 'Feeka Parh Gaya Brand Modi' after BJP's losing grip over its three stronghold states of Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, besides two others. Salathia told that "people of these five states have rightly hit the tar- get. They were less assailed by the BJP rulers in the state but they were more hurt by the rulers in the Centre. They have sent a trailer for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. It was a message of people from their conscience for Modi against his falsehood and misleading innocent people by showing them green pas- tures and dreams to bring heaven on earth and that too in India only." Salathia further said that the innocent people sincerely believed that Modi has ' 56" Seena' (Chest) and he is bold enough to bow down Pakistan with a strength of 1.25 bil- lion population, bring back the wanted criminals like Dawood and others, build Ram Mandir, Remove Art 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and transfer Rs 15 lakh in their account due to which they will no more be poor and hapless. Salathia explained that Modi had asserted that he will bring back 'Black money' from Swiss Banks but the fact as now remains that his own men during his regime, excelled earlier investors in transferring black money to Swiss Banks. The Indian economy is totally shattered and country will continue to suffer for decades, he said, adding that Modi had been bragging about his policies to make India 'Congress Mukt' which failed totally. He concluded that people of these five states have rejected the false and misleading policies of the Prime Minister and have made these states 'BJP Mukt' as also have given a message to the whole countrymen for a similar gesture. STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: A delegation of J&K Graduate Promotee Agriculture Officer's Association (JKGPAOA) met Manzoor Ahmed Lone, Secretary Horticulture /Agriculture and handed over detailed representation elabo- rating how unauthorized direct recruitment of AEOs and equivalents made through JKPSC from 1988 onwards consumed the quota of VEWs, JAAs, Junior AEOs, in viola- tion of rule position. The association highlighted that in bizarre instance JKPSC selected 74 candidates against 34 referred posts and APD in gross violation of rule appointed all 74 candidates operating expired selection list during two years from 1989 to 1991. It was also apprised that later on direct recruitment of AEOs and equivalents contin- ued further with the result the strength of Direct PSC recruits reached to 642 num- bers. Whereas, only 67 VEWs/JAAs/JAEOs have been promoted and rest all are reeling post to pillar to get their due share of 50 and 80 per cent as per rule but are not heard to till date. The JKGPAOA stressed that the huge difference in ratio between direct recruits and promotees is the main bottle- neck in finalisation of Class- VII seniority which has caused drastic derailment in the cadre management. The association urged that one time settlement of promo- tion and seniority issue of VEWs, JAAs and JAEOs as per due share on the pattern of recent direction of ASC in case of teachers should be adopted to end the unwanted harass- ment being faced by them for more than thirty years. Giving patient hearing to the deputation, Secretary APD strongly endorsed the plight of promotees and agreed that all 416 vacancies were required to be filled by promotees at the time of 1988 rule implementa- tion and no vacancy should have been referred for direct recruitment till maintaining the balance between direct recruits and promotees as laid in the rules. Secretary APD assured that he will try his best to do justice with the promo- tees.
