Virtual Awards Dinner

Dear Investors and Community Members,

I am pleased to invite you to sponsor and/or golf in our 33rd Annual EDASC Golf Tournament & 19th Hole Awards Dinner on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Avalon Golf Links. It is one of the longest running golf tournaments in the county, bringing together over 200 business professionals and community members in support of local economic development. It features a beginner-friendly four-person scramble format so golfers of all skill levels can feel comfortable.

This year, things will be a little different as we move the in-person awards dinner to a virtual format due to COVID-19 public health concerns. So following the tournament, golfers will get their dinners to-go, and an awards ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Even if you miss the virtual awards ceremony, we will post results on our website and contact prize winners. The rest of the tournament will look largely the same ex-cept for some added social-distancing measures in place for check-in. Given that golf takes place in foursomes, we are confident that we can meet the public health requirements to safely host the tournament.
