Experiments
Alisha Harrison
Process
• I have chosen a fishing picture that I like and opened it in Photoshop
Process
• I have added a red box to make a banner
Process
• I have added text using the text tool to my red banner and using the color over lay I have changed the (WIN) to yellow to make that stand out
Process
• I have added a title using the text tool and changed the colour to blue I think the blue stands out of the background image it looks eye catching
Process
• I have then changed the opacity to blend it into the image rather than having it so bold and standing out.
• I think this looks good how it blends it and gets lighter towards to the end of the word
Process
• I have used the shape tool to add in the yellow shape behind the top 10 text
Process
• I have added a barcode because every magazine has a barcode
Process
• I went onto google images and found a yellow spikey bubble that I put onto my fishing magazine then added a price text into it
• Then I added other bits of text
Process
I went onto the internet and found some images and put them onto the page then using the shape tool I put transparent boxes with a red outline around them.
Process
• I decided that it looked a bit plane in the middle to I added another big title Fish big this summer
Process
• I have added another little subheading at the bottom
• And added a picture of a turtle
Process
• I have added a red outline around the turtle picture to make it stand out.
This is my final Fishing cover for a magazine
Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product?
• In my final product I will include how I have set out my magazine cover how the images and the text has been placed
• I love the idea of having one big image for the background that’s defiantly going to be part of my final magazine
