Pile InstallationBefore going through pile installation methodsunderstand the following terminology.Driven pre-cast pile: The pile is castedin a yardbrought to the site and driven by some mechanism

into the soilDriven Cast-in-situ pile: A casing plugged at bottom isdriven into the ground and then the pile is casted byremoving or retaining the casing

Bored Pre-cast pile: A bore is made and the soil insideis removed and then a pile castedin some yard is putinto the boreBored Cast -in-situ pile: A bore is made the soil isremoved and the pile is castedat site in the bore .
