Acts 4:24 “…. they lifted uptheir voice to God with one accord, and said, ‘Lord, thouart God, which hast madeheaven, and earth, and thesea, and all that in them is:’”
One of the aggravating facets of getting older is struggling to recall what I know I know. I was engaged in this mental tussle onemorning during the commute to my office. The term I was trying toremember finally came to me - “irreducible complexity.” I can hearsomeone say “Whaaaaattt?”
This phrase applies to any organism or species whose intricaciesand characteristics are such that they could not survive in their environment unless they were as biologically complex as they currently are. Their complexity in all of its intricate detail could notbe less than it is right now for it to survive. It must be as it is to continue to be. It must be as it is in order to have been at all. “Irreducible complexity” also applies to creatures or species thatcould not possibly survive in any other kind of environment than theone in which they are currently living.
What is the significance of this? Because in order to survive, amultitude of living creatures give testimony by their very existencethat they had to be immediately and instantaneously as complexas they currently are in order to exist at all. Sounds like sudden creation to me! How about you?
