OUR MISSIONOUR MISSION

The Nova Southeastern University (NSU) chapter of the National Optometric Student Association (NOSA) is open to all optometry students at NSU College of Optometry and is dedicated to three main goals:

Recruitment of students from various backgrounds into the profession of optometry. This is attained through personal contacts, conferences and seminars, and participation in career days at high schools and colleges nationwide.

Retention of optometry students once they have been accepted into the optometric program. This is achieved through mentoring and tutoring, as well as through loans and scholarships.

Service to the communities locally and internationally through vision screenings, educational lectures, and public service.
