3Skilled Nursing & Rehab Employee of the Month!
Connor Berry is one heck of a nurse. We have received comments about him from multiple families in the past month, all remarking about how caring and considerate and on top of things he is. He is always willing to take the time to make sure our residents have all their needs met. Recently he made sure Minerva Harris was able to go to the hospital to see her husband who had just been admitted. Because of his extra care and thoughtfulness Minerva was able to be with Ray when he died. I hear story after story about Connor and how amazing he is with residents. He even went a
Terrace Grove Employee of the Month!Rachel is an outstanding nurse, who, as the pictures show, can take care of herself and others in any given situation. Rachel took top honors in the National Karate Championships, held in Las Vegas in 2015. She approaches her job much the same way as her dedication to Karate. She is meticulous, thorough and a “get it done girl!” On her shifts, residents always come first, she is known for helping out the aids on her shift in any way possible. Rachel will get residents up in the mornings, dress them and even do a shower if needed. She goes above and
Home Health & Hospice Employee of the Month!Lisa Hill has received Employee of the Month for June as she often goes above and beyond in caring for her patients. Lisa has a special passion and desire to serve a given population within our foundation. She has a strong desire to advocate for the underdog and promote equality. She is detail oriented and paperwork is always turned in accurately and on time. Lisa has worked very hard to understand the Medicaid systems and the ACO processes. Lisa has an innate ability to connect with client and families while graciously encouraging them to accept supportive services. Lisa enjoys teaching and training staff in both clinical and clerical interventions.

step further by participating in the SST American Idol in not one, but two acts! Not many people are willing to put themselves out there and make fools of themselves but Connor jumped at the chance as long as it was for the residents. What a swell nurse. He is a good person and gives his job his all. Thank you for all that you do, Connor!
beyond and nothing in her nursing job is below her. She is an excellent example of a terrific nurse and also a fun co-worker! The best advice ever, is to always stay on her good side, because she can be one tough cookie! We are so happy to have Rachel on our Terrace Grove team….she ROCKS!!!
Lisa has taken it upon herself to learn both Kinnser and ADL, which has benefitted the clinicians and the company as a whole. She’s been able to identify areas of improvement within the software and worked closely with administration and the software company to work toward improvements. She is reliable, trustworthy, and consistent with client care. Lisa has a long history here at Sunshine Terrace Foundation; she has been employee here for 6 years. We are proud to publically recognize Lisa Hill as Sunshine Home Health and Hospice Employee of the Month for June 2016.

Sunshine Terrace is in need of some Electric Recliner
Lift Chairs for some of our rooms. Any clean chair in
good working order would be greatly appreciated.
We would love to have a Flat Screen TV in every
room. They not only help us look up-to-date, but they usually have better picture quality and are lighter than traditional
TVs.
Volunteering OpportunitiesTerrace Grove Assisted

Looking for a Service Project? We are always open to
volunteer service projects from any Community Groups,
Schools or Churches.
Terrace Grove is wondering if anyone has an extra piano
lying around, or if you would like to buy us a new
one. The piano would be put in our Rec. Therapy room
and used for activities.
