Between the gambling (for fun), shrimp cocktails, Atlantic City boardwalk caramel corn, cocktails, bunny waitresses and giveaways, everyone seemed to have a great time. The event was co-hosted by Sarah from Senior Helpers who provided our entertainer and the classic shrimp cocktails which added a bit of Vegas to our theme. Joe Catando and partner played some classic rat pack and casino songs while the folks played Blackjack, Poker, Roulette and some slots. Towards the end there were some lucky tickets drawn for prizes. What a great day! On May 13th we will be having with all of the above. Path to Well-Being Many of you are familiar with Steve B., pictured on the left. Steve shares his many talents of music and spirituality with our residents here at the Town Center, Inn and at the Gardens. Steve plays guitar every Friday night in our parlor, every Thursday morning at the Inn and also once a month at our Gardens neighborhood. Steve also has a grief share program that he holds on Saturday afternoons on the 3rd floor. On this particular day, I happened to be passing by our Library and heard some piano music playing. It seems we have another musically talented resident here. Dave K. who plays a mean piano concerto! Maybe we can convince him to join our entertainment calendar? If you have a special talent that you would like us to know about, contact Sue or Anna so that you can share your talents with all of us! Thriving
