Explore Atlanta, Georgia!“In Atlanta, fine dining, shopping and rich history combined with inspiration-
inducing attractions to create a city with Southern charm and world-class sophistication. It’s easy to see why Atlanta, Georgia is one of the most popular
destinations in the Southeast to live and visit.” – Atlanta Convention and Visitor’s Bureau
To learn more about Atlanta, please visit the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau website at www.atlanta.net.

“In the early 1960s, Atlanta became the cultural catalyst for the civil rights movement. While civil rights efforts predate the city’s involvement, the activists quickly found their spiritual center within the Sweet Auburn district making it home to much of the civil rights history. Today, Atlanta is the only city in the nation where you can view two Nobel Peace Prizes – one located in the King Center and the other in the Carter Center.
In celebration of the city’s civil rights legacy, you’ll find historic events, notable civil rights activists, attractions and historic sites, heritage tours and present day festivals. Explore the site and city for an in-depth look at the effects of rarely-mentioned revolutionaries who were catalysts in the civil rights movement.
The city of Atlanta is the embodiment of Southern hospitality, sophistication and progress. It belies a truly progressive character that has defined a legacy, continues to exert leadership and builds on the civil rights movement. Open minds and open arms invite you to explore our city’s distinguished past!”

Roommate MatchesOne way to cut hotel costs is by having a roommate. Although we are unable to
match roommates, we can help facilitate your finding one.
We will add all official registrants to a special group through a project management platform called Basecamp. This will enable you to stay connected with the
conference organizer and fellow registrants. Make certain that you utilize it! Get engaged and get to know fellow registrants before the actual event!
Feel free to post messages requesting roommates and put out a call where you state your gender, age or age range, personality and smoking preferences.
