Letter of recommendation to the Brotherhood of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ: Greetings to you in the name of Christ. It is my honor and pleasure to introduce to you our brother in Christ, Rich McQuinn, who has served the past 12 years as minister of the North Liberty Christian Church at Veedersburg, Indiana. Prior to this ministry Rich has served the Lord faithfully as a gospel preacher for over 50 years. Currently he also serves part-time as an Evangelist with WHITE FIELDS OVERSEAS EVANGELISM. We thank God for Evangelist Harry Douglas who has arrived home safely from his mission in Cuba. 18 years ago we began the work of the Christian Churches in Cuba and God has blessed this work greatly from the beginning. White Fields has planned and sponsored 84 trips to Cuba since the beginning of the work in December 1996. We have always had 3 purposes in mind for each trip: (1) win souls to Christ (2) start new churches (3) teach men to preach the gospel. We thank God for all the Evangelists who have worked in co-operation with White Fields to-wards these goals. In the beginning we organized a Bible Institute on a voluntary basis and for several years all the evangelists who cooperated in the work taught in this Institute. Eventually we organized a regular Bible Institute in which there are rules and a planned curriculum similar to American Bible Colleges and it is called CUBA BIBLE IN-STITUTE. Four seminary modules are conducted each year on a quarterly basis. Last year our first 10 preachers graduated and received their certificates. Dr. Don Ott, associate evangelist with White Fields, is the Director. Evangelist Harry Douglas has been one of the most enthusiastic and hard working of all the men who have helped in the Cuba work. During this trip just completed Harry reports the following: “Had a great trip.... God answered your prayers....in exciting ways. The new guys, Jose, Alfredo, and the newest one Jose Luis are doing a great job of starting new churches and ministering to them. We spent time there in March, and saw first hand what God was dong through them. We visited 5 works in the Bayamo area and another called Rio Cauto. Two more have been started in the Bayamo area, ministered to by Jose and his brother Alfredo. Jose Luiz has a group where he lives and is going to the new work we started in March called Rio Cauto. He has to walk 16 km to get from his town to Rio Cauto, so I gave Jose $60 to get him a bicycle so he could make the trip more regularly... He is not receiving support, but really coming along... He attended all 8 classes and passed the exam with a 90%.... We visited Eligio Rafael Lara Martin and the work at Melena del Sur.... preached and shared a meal with them... they have a good group, with lots of families, and great enthusiasm... it was great to be with them after 3 or 4 years.. A chilling report from Evangelist Reggie Thomas Every first day of the month it is my duty to go to the post office and mail checks to Evangelists that White Fields supporters are helping all over the world. In recent years it has become impossi-ble to safely mail checks to some islands in the Philippines, to some cities in India, and to a few other nations. Where it is im-possible to send checks we send by bank wire or via Western Union. The bank charges $ 50 per wire whereas Western Union generally charges $10, so we use Western Union where possible. A few years ago it became impossible to send money via the post office to one of the African nations that has been labeled “a ha-ven” for terrorists. White Fields has a very faithful Evangelist in this nation and so we have been sending his support via Western Union. On July 1, 2014, I entered this bank to send the money to our preacher in this nation. While I was filling out the form a young lady passed by me and went to the window. The gentle-man at the window said, “May I help you?” The lady responded, “I would like change for this bill.’ The clerk at the window re-

sponded, “Do you have an account at this bank?” The lady replied, “NO. “ The clerk said, “According to new government rules we can no longer receive cash money from anyone who does not have an account in this bank. I cannot give you change. The government requires an AC-COUNT NUNMBER to go with each cash exchange”. The young lady was shocked and turned and left. I then approached the same clerk who knows me very well as I have been going to this bank for sev-eral years to send Western Union wires. The clerk asked, “Reggie do you have an account here?” I replied, “NO.” The clerk responded, “Reggie I am very sorry but a few days ago the government refused to allow us to send any more money overseas via Western Union unless the customer has an account here in this bank. We must have an ACCOUNT NUMBER for each cash transaction.” I was shocked and immediately I asked myself, “Has the MARK OF THE BEAST” begun?” I am re-ferring to Revelation 13: 11, 16, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”. We are living in perilous times! We are asking all supporters of White Fields to take notice of this and pray that we may continue to help our Evangelists overseas to preach the gospel Closing note: I went back to the White Fields offices and my daughter, our White Fields Secretary Lori Dar-nell, was able to send the money to our Evangelist in Africa using my credit card, sending it via the internet.

From Steven Enoch ~ Liberia, Africa We too have ebola virus here in Liberia that is killing more people without cure as well. Be-cause of this when you have malaria, diarrhea, headache and other fevers, the Nurses will abandon you or put you into a room for 21 days to see if you have ebola. Many people have died of fear and common sicknesses that can be treated for fear of the Nurses getting ebola. Please pray with us here in Liberia. Since February the Ministry of Health says that it has killed more than 68 people in Liberia. We trust that Lord that He will protect us and our kids here. Still keep us on your prayer list for it. I will like to informed you about. (1) Praise God we had Elections here on 12th July and we

have a new Government. For ten years we suffered in every area of life. No development, not

friendly to non-nationals and the list goes on. Now we have a Government that is friendly to

the Church and investors are in already. The future looks very bright for Antigua. (2)

Chikungunya. It is a viral disease that is transmitted to people by mosquitoes. It has occurred

in various islands to include Antigua, St. Lucia, Guadeloupe, Anguilla, Dominica and St. Vin-

cent & Grenadines and several others. The most common symptoms are fever and severe

joint pains, often in the hands and feet, headache, muscle pain, joint swelling, or rash. There

are no antiviral medicines to treat Chikungunya. There are medicines to help reduce the fever

and pain. I have it and so has my wife. Please say a special prayer for us here. Our attend-

ance is affected a lot because of this. As soon as one member has recovered two others are

sick. God bless you all.

We are trying to build a church building at Fisherman Village. By the Grace of God we have finish half of the building and we need to finish the windows, doors, and the roof. Because of the start of the rainy season, we have no other place to worship. Our church members and others had given six thousand dollars to start the building we need four thousand more dollars to finish the building Please pray and ask other churches to pray for this building . Thank you for your prayers for the children at the Jesus Loves Me Home. The Chikungunya virus made it’s way thru all the children. When Clotide took the 6 children to the hospital, the doctor took pity on her and gave her extra medicine because he knew the other children would be needing the medicine too. Taicha (Rebecca) and Christy are still having trouble eating and regaining their strength. Doctors have said you can only contract this virus once, but medical professionals in Haiti are reporting people are con-tracting it over and over in Haiti. Please continue to pray for the people of the Caribbean, especially Haiti and that the virus will now stay away from the Jesus Loves Me Home. One morning in early June I was surprised to wake up to pictures of a new baby at the home. The pictures were followed by a letter from Clotide:

In the afternoon, I heard someone at the gate. I went to see who is knocking. I saw four policeman, they greet me, I greet them too and waved my hand. In a short conversation, one of them said. “you are thaicha’s mother.” I was very upset, and said: “do you know me?” He said “yes, you’re thaicha mother.” Quickly thaicha was with me when she heard her name and she was happy. Now we started to talk. They said we have a good news for you. I said, what news is it? One of them opened the car door and showed me a baby. I said, “I can’t take her, She’s too little!” They said, “Thaicha was little and also damaged!” I said “yes, but she cost lots of money to be like that you see.” They said, “we’ll pray for you that you do the same for this baby and you find help like you did for thaicha!” I took time to think, they said we must take her or she’s going to die! One policeman said, “let’s go to an-other orphanage, maybe they will save her life.” But the other policeman wanted to give her to me. I accepted and took her. Like that, I have her. They started to leave and said they would keep in con-tact. They said she doesn’t have father and her mother is crazy for years. She lived no where. She had only one blouse and a sandal and a sock, no more things. Cristina has an appetite like someone who has 13 years! And she drinks a lot of milk. Her belly is big for malnourishment and parasites. I am afraid for her: her feet are small, her head is big, her belly is big, she has a red hair, she does not have big ears, she has scabies, she’s teething, she sits and moves but cannot walk. They told me she is bout a year old. If I can find help for her and can take care of her, I’ll keep her. All kids loves her. Thaicha loves her like she’s her baby. I pray we can help and realize Christina’s life. Please join Clotide and us praying for support and care for Christina. We do not usually take babies because of the added expense and the extra help that is needed. Pray for Christina’s health, especially after suffering Chikungu-nya. We are praising God! Clotide told us the Haitian doctor found lumps in her stomach, the Cuban doctors could not find anything. She needed to go to Port-au-Prince to find out what was going on with her health. After a generous donation, we sent her to Port-au-Prince. The results are a little lost in translation, but what we do understand is that she does not have fibroids or tumors! The pain and problems were caused by the first Haitian doctor on a previous fibroid. She is also anemic. We are so happy Mama Clotide is ok! She is the strength and glue of the Je-sus Loves Me Home. She cooks all the meals, does all the shopping (and your local Walmart craziness om Black Friday doesn’t compare to the Haitian market), wakes everyone up, feeds them, gets them dressed and ready for school, takes care of the little ones, washes most of the clothes, cleans, mops, takes care of her chickens, starts supper from scratch, feed the kids again, puts everyone to bed , at some point she goes to bed herself for a few hours! She doesn’t understand why she has a head or is tired a lot! We love Clotide and want her healthy!

On Saturday June 7 a cele-bration was con-ducted in Chen-nai to give thanks to God for 40 years of evangelistic work by Doug Willis, an associate evangelist with White Fields. All past and pre-sent leaders of the Churches of Christ were invited to share in a few minutes reflection of the unity of many ministries that have grown out of the original efforts of those pioneer mis-sionaries Art and Ruth Morse. Almost all present ministries in South India are a result of the impact the Morse’s had in India during their more than 40 years of missionary work. India is a nation of well over one billion people. It is divided into 31 states containing 565,000 villages, 1,618 languages, 6,400 castes and 6 ethnic groups. The task of taking the gospel to this nation is IMMENSE-mind-boggling. However, we believe that the gospel is “God’s power unto salvation” to everyone who believes and that it is the church’s primary responsibility to proclaim the gospel to every creature.

Due to the enforcement of old laws and the intro-duction of new laws, foreigners entering India are prohibited from evangelizing or doing any kind of missionary work. However, there are ways and means for us to continue spreading the Word and helping extend God’s kingdom. There are many national workers equipped to preach, teach, and train others to become New Testament evangelists, just like Titus. We thank God that Doug was able to baptize sev-eral souls into Christ in spite of the government re-strictions and persecutions against Christians.

This trip began with stressful uncertainty. Upon arrival at the airport we learned that the flight had been cancelled because an impending ice-storm was predict-ed. We stayed over in a hotel. The next day Becky dropped me off at the airport and left. Neither of us knew that a snow storm was closing in on Chicago with reports that it might be being shut down. We sat on the runway in Knoxville waiting for official word about departure. This delay required several de-icings. When we were finally given permission to leave the uncertainty of making the connection in Chicago looked bleak and I had no way to communicate with those in Myanmar that were waiting for me. Here is one of their "gods" who had

just received its evening meal. I wonder how he ate it! Providential opportunities to evangelize while travelling occurred early in my trip. While waiting for one of my connections, I sat next to a man who happened to be from Nepal. By God's grace I have ministered there and this enabled me to relate to him quickly and impress him with my knowledge of his country and its customs. After establishing a relationship with him, I began to discuss the religious aspects of Nepal. When I asked him if he had ever heard of a man named Jesus he said "no." I began by offering proof that Jesus was a real person as demonstrated by the world wide recognition of His birth as the basis for all of modern history. He was impressed by this unknown fact and he accepted it as true. I then asked if he would like to hear more about Je-sus. He said "yes," so I continued to give him small bits of information. I stopped often and asked him if he wanted to know more. The sound of his voice strongly indicated his sincere belief in the things that he was hearing for the first time in his life. Think what an amazing experience it was to tell him how this Jesus loved him so much that He paid the greatest price possible so that He could save him! Thanks for making it possible for him to hear what he had never heard and may never have heard. Evangelism doesn't just start once we are on the Mission field but sometimes those efforts end abruptly. This occurred when a Roman Catholic Priest sat down nearby. After a casual approach, I sincerely said that I would enjoy discussing and learning more about his beliefs. Mt. 16:18-19 is one of their key foundational scriptures which are misused to justify their authority. They mistakenly apply this to Peter whom they claim was the first Pope and that the powers of verse 19 are as much theirs today as it was Peter's. Greek is generally unknown except for specif-ically trained ministers which I assumed that he would be also. In Greek V. 18 used two different Greek words for "Peter" and "Rock." "Peter" is in the masculine gender and "Rock" is in the femi-

nine gender. Therefore they cannot refer to the same thing. Also Verse 19, in Greek, is written in the "future perfect tense." It should read "whatever you bind on earth must have already been bound in Heaven" and the same is true with the word "loose." The Amplified N. T. brings out this information in their translation. The same promise is made to all of the Apostles in Mt. 19:28 and John 20:23.

Myanmar: A Multi-dimensional Ministry By Dr. W. Blythe Robinson

When I asked the Priest if we could discuss these verses, I was shocked at his answer. He said "No." When I asked if there was some particular reason for this, he said, "Yes, I haven't studied the Bible." So I asked what was his training, he replied that it was "only Catholic Theology." Yet he had told me that he ministered to two different Catholic Churches. Unless we recognize the authority of the Scriptures above all others, then there can be no basis for knowing the truth. He indicated no interest in what the Bible said. This ended our discussion. There were to be abundant opportunities on this trip to share the Gospel with others, individually, in classes, and at other churches. Graduation provided the largest crowd in this part of Myanmar. However, God's providence would take me to a new place, far to the north in the high mountains of what is called Chin State. Here I would preach and teach to over a thousand peo-ple. I look forward to sharing more of this ministry with you as I continue to regain my health. To be continued.
