Converging OccupationalSafety and Health With Business

Occupational health aims to promote and maintain the highest degree of physical, mental and social wellbeing of workers in all roles. Focusing on the working conditions and the risks workers

take in adverse working conditions. Along with safety from physical injuries, it is also imperative that employers take care of the mental health and hygiene of their workforce and strive to keep a

disease free work environment. OSH India aims to bring industrial hygienists, nurses, safety professionals, environmental health specialists, CMOs, Doctors and consultants on one platform for the

industry to benefit. A forum to spread awareness, brainstorm ideas and exchange best practices from which the industry benefits.

Women in India are expected to manage both their households and work. Often subject to harsh working

conditions in which they don’t always get treated the way women are meant to, at times indulging into

hard physical labour and stressful working conditions. Unfortunately little is being done to

ensure their safety and health. OSH India is taking an initiative to create awareness on the importance

of treating women correctly in occupational safety and health. This is by bringing the women who

actually belong from this sector to the forefront, recognise and award success stories and appraise

companies of the best practices that must be followed. All this and more through a power

packed conference by eminent speakers.
