“Create in me a pure heart, O God!”

撒母耳记下 2 Samuel 11-12; 诗篇 Psalm 51

神啊，求祢为我造清洁的心！

Standing at the door of our hearts and lives are only 2 possibilities:

(1) Sin (2) Jesus

Who we open the door

to determines who will

come into our home / heart / life.

站在我们的心灵和生命的门外有2个可能性 :-

(1) 罪 (2) 耶稣

我们向谁开门将决定谁可进入我们的家庭/心灵/生命。

Remember doors can be opened or closed, even locked.

It’s important to take note:

We don’t have to open the door of our home and heart

to everyone and everything that knocks on it !

记住，即使锁住的门也可被打开或关上。

必须注意：

我们不必都为那些敲我们家门与心门的人

与事物而开门。

从引诱到犯罪的步骤： The steps from temptation to sin:

Acting on the temptation

Wrong place, wrong time

Temptation appeals to the senses;

in the case of King David,

it was through the eyes!

Curiosity takes over -

Getting more information.

最重要的经文在撒下11:27，“大卫所行的这事，

耶和华甚不喜悦。”

神介入并纠正大卫的生命。

神要我们正视自己的罪因为要拯救我们不至永远灭亡。

当大卫正视自己的罪时，他说出痛心的忏悔，

在撒下12:13，“我得罪耶和华了”

诗篇51篇记录他的整篇忏悔。

The most significant verse 2 Samuel 11:27 -

“But the thing David had done displeased the Lord.”

God took over and put things right in David’s life.

God confronts us with our sin so as to save us from eternal

destruction.

When confronted with his sin, David uttered his heart breaking

confession in 2 Samuel 12 v13: “I have sinned against the Lord!”

with his full confession written in Psalm 51.

在神那里有好信息和新开始的盼望。

A) 没有完全的人。

B) 罪是真实的。(约壹1:8)

C) 神赦免我们的罪。 (约壹1:9)

D) 若神饶恕我们，我们就应该饶恕别人。

With God, there is good news and hope of a new start.

A) No one is perfect.

B) Sin is real. (1 John 1:8)

C) God forgives our sin. (1 John 1:9)

D) If God has forgiven us, we ought to forgive others.
