Downstairs

Almost unique, this fine lodge is a stylish home that has adaptable living in a beautiful location. Most of the rooms are on one floor and planning permission has been granted to provide even more living space if so desired. The front door opens into the entrance hall, which in turn leads to the main living space. The sitting room and dining room have a double aspect over the wonderful gardens, oak flooring and a superb marble fireplace. There is a modern kitchen/breakfast room with granite worktops and a range cooker and a separate utility area.

Returning through the living room, a door at the far end opens in to an inner hallway. From here there is another sitting room, again with a double aspect, that could easily be used as a bedroom. There are two bedrooms on this level, a luxury bathroom with a white suite that includes a double bath and a separate shower room. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a further double bedroom with its own en suite bathroom.

Externally

The gardens to this property are a joy to behold having such a green and sylvan vista that you could be forgiven for thinking that you are in the heart of the country! One can relax and enjoy the birdsong whist sitting on the deck or terrace enjoying the sunshine as the garden has a southerly aspect. The water feature and pond are very stimulating and there is a large lawn with mature and will stocked borders. An ornamental Japanese style bridge leads to a barbecue area. There is a large detached garage with light and power and additional parking.
