1 25 TBF Observation for GPRS TraceTBF Observation for GPRS Trace is a part of the System Level Trace for GPRS. It also expands the tracing capabilities to packet switched services.

TBF Observation for GPRS Trace observes two events and registers them in the coun-ters:

• resource consumption by the subscriber during tracing, which includes allocations, reallocations and releases of Temporary Block Flows (TBF)

• call quality related transactions performed on the subscriber, which consist of changes in the used coding scheme and MS flow control

The System Level Trace for GPRS in BSC is activated by a message from the SGSN.
