PRAYER CLINIC Prayer Clinic is an opportunity to receive prayer for healing (physical, emotional and spiritual) in a safe and confidential environment. It meets on the first Thursday of each month. CATALYST RETREAT Far too often what one generation secures, the next generation assumes and the following generation loses. We are part of a church which has laid hold of something powerful, but we can't afford to rest on our laurels. Join us as we unite for one day, as one body, around one big idea: to continue “The Pursuit”. Cost £12pp includes Morning coffee, lunch and dinner. For more information check out CFCCatalyst on Facebook. PRAYER FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH AND MUSLIM WORLD A monthly meeting to pray for the Persecuted Church and Muslim world. The next meeting is on Thursday 17 November at 8pm in the Prayer House with a member of Frontiers Ireland missions agency coming to share and to help us to pray for our brothers and sisters in the persecuted church. For more information contact [email protected] WATER BAPTISM At CFC we believe in baptism through total immersion. We will be having a baptism service on Sunday 29 November at our Seven service. If you would like to be baptised there is a a mandatory class will be held on Monday 16 November at 7:30pm in the Ark Room, CFC East Belfast. To register sign up at the Resources Desk or email [email protected] A two day course for couples who are engaged or thinking of getting engaged. At this interactive weekend, we look at topics such as marriage expectations, resolving conflict, in-laws, sex and finances. We demonstrate tools that help couples communicate well and iron out difficulties. During the weekend, there will be group work and couples only time. After the weekend, each couple has the opportunity of meeting up with two of the facilitators for an informal chat on the topics raised and any other concerns held. The weekend is open to Church members and non- members alike. The next course is on Friday 28 November 7.30 – 9.30pm and Saturday 29 November 9am – 4pm in the Ark Room, CFC East Belfast. The course costs £20 per couple. To register go to thisiscfc.com/pre -marriage-course KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY 28-31 October Hydebank Prison – female team. 10-13 November Maghaberry Prison – male team. We’d love you to join with us to pray for Kairos and the inmates of Maghaberry & Hydebank Prisons as the teams go into the prisons to present a three day course on Christianity. If you are happy and willing to pray, please leave your name at the Kairos Desk in either of the foyers this morning, Your name will be added to a paper chain that is then put up in the area in Maghaberry & Hydebank where the events will be taking place. KNIT AND YARN Knit and Yarn runs every Thursday at 7.30pm – 9.30pm in the Atrium. This is an evening which is open to knitters and crocheters from those wanting to learn a new skill to those with lots of experience! There will also be free lessons for anyone interested in learning a new skill/ hobby. Work from the past year will be on display on the first evening. SEWING GROUP Take time to talk to others, share your skills and advance your latest project. This group meets weekly on Thursdays at 7pm-9:30pm in the Basement, CFC East. No need to register, for more information contact the office on 02890671838.

BEE BLESSED Bee Blessed is a charity quilting bee which meets monthly in CFC. Our aim is to create quilts to bless those who are going through a tough time. We'd love you to join in with this fun and friendly group! MOPS/MOPS & TOTS VOLUNTEERS Would you be free on Tuesday mornings to help with our amazing Mops or Mops & Tots programmes? Whether you’re a student or a grandparent or somewhere in between, if you can make a cup of tea, cuddle a baby or chat to mums we’d love you to be part of the team! Mops and Mops & Tots each run twice a month on Tuesday mornings. Currently we have had to close registration and have people on a waiting list as they don’t have enough volunteers. CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR There will be a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday 14 November, 10am – 4.30 pm in the Sports Hall. Refreshments £1. Proceeds will fund our over 60s Christmas dinner. TRANSFORMERS DAY - SUNDAY NOVEMBER A Sunday for people to share their story of how God has been transforming their lives, followed by an informal lunch. Please consider inviting family and friends to this service.

OASIS ANTRIM FOOD STORE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ASDA Are you free on Friday 30 October? Could you spare an hour or two to promote the food store at Asda? This our once-a-month opportunity to gather stock for the food store which is then used to make food hampers for needy families in our area. Please see Alan or Cherith Wilson for more information.
