This Unit allows a 12Volt Trailer to be towed by a 24Volt Vehicle. The E805 Trailer Voltage Converter has been designed to give it compatibility with Vehicles either with or without Engine Management Systems. The main power for the Unit is taken directly from the Vehicle’s 24V Battery. The outputs are controlled by the voltage applied to the Input Leads, the current drawn by the Inputs is typically 0.3mA. There are six independent output circuits, each is Overload and Short Circuit protected.

This Unit provides a set voltage to switch a load of up to 1A. The current drawn from the voltage source is < 1mA below the switching voltage. The output switches On as the voltage rises and Off as the voltage falls. The switch voltage can be set in the range 12.5V to 13.5V. This Unit was designed to maintain the Cranking Battery threshold voltage of 12.5V – 13.5V, depending on the setting of the Voltage Adjuster (ie: to suit the application) thus retaining sufficient battery capacity to start the Vehicle.
