NMRS - India is a registered society started in the year 1995, with the aim of providing a plaorm for MR spectroscopists to meet and discuss developments in the area. The society currently has a membership of about 1000 and has several disnguished internaonal sciensts as honorary members. The theme of the NMRS 2018 conference is "Froners of Interdisciplinary NMR: Applicaons to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Medicine", and will include sessions on all aspects of magnec resonance ran gin g from Biomolecular NMR and Diffusion NMR to NMR Metabolomics and Imaging. NMRS-India is a registered society started in the year 1995, with the aim of providing a platform for MR spectroscopists to meet and discuss developments in the area. The society currently has a membership of about 1000 and has several distinguished international scientists as honorary members. The theme of the NMRS 2018 conference is "Frontiers of Interdisciplinary NMR: Applications to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Medicine", and will include sessions on all aspects of magnetic resonance ranging from Biomolecular NMR and Diffusion NMR to NMR Metabolomics and Imaging.

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali (IISER Mohali) is a premier institute established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to carry out research in frontier areas of science and to provide quality science education at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level. The IISERs are the next generation research universities in India and there are seven IISERs in different parts of India (Mohali, Pune, Kolkata, Bhopal, Trivandrum, Tirupati and Behrampur). Currently, IISER Mohali has around 1000 undergraduates and over 400 graduate students and postdocs. IISER Mohali was set up in 2007 and is now celebrating 10 years.
