SERVE
STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT Am I my brother’s keeper? All three readings today suggest that for the Christian steward the answer is “Yes!
Nurses Notes:
September is Childhood Obesity
Awareness Month
One in 3 children in the US is overweight or obese. Child-
hood obesity puts kids at risk for health problems that were
once only seen in adults, like type 2 diabetes, high blood
pressure, and heart disease.
Children and adolescents who are obese are likely to be obese
as adults and are therefore more at risk for adult health prob-
lems such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, several
types of cancer, and osteoarthritis.
The good news is that childhood obesity can be prevented.
Communities, health professionals, and families can work
together to create opportunities for kids to eat healthier and
move more.
St. Anne Faith Community Nurses encourage your family to
make healthy changes together.
Get active outside: Walks around the neighborhood, go
on a bike ride, or play basketball at the park.
Limit screen time: Keep screen time (time spent on the
computer, watching TV, or playing video games) to
2 hours or less a day.
Make healthy meals: Buy and serve more vegetables,
fruits, and whole-grain foods.
Faith Community Nursing Serving the community is our passion.

IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY PLEASE use the phone at the AV booth or in the of-
fice to call 911. Do not use your cell phone it will reach
Sacramento CHP and precious time will be lost.
WEEKLY OFFERING
In the past the parish would publish the weekly offerings and
compare them to a budgeted amount, based on “Fair Share
Offerings.”
The publishing of this information was discontinued at the
recommendation of the Diocese due to a number of burglaries
that have occurred at some parishes in the Diocese.
Your weekly offerings are very important to the parish in or-
der to meet our operational responsibilities. We ask that each
parishioner continue to prayerfully consider a consistent of-
fering that will assist in meeting those responsibilities
Your generosity is your return to the Lord for his goodness to
you. Make an investment in the reign of God today!
PENSAMIENTO ADMINISTRATIVO

We have a growing need among those we
serve for Dental Care. To meet this need our
Society has begun to develop a Dental Pro-
gram for low income and uninsured adults.
We need your help to find Dentist willing to
lend a hand and provide care to one person
per quarter to help us meet this growing
crisis in our community.
The care would be provided in the comfort
of their own office with their equipment and
our volunteers will help the patient with
transportation to meet their schedule.
